perfect location clean spacious room - nice little touches with towels and slippers staff amazing so friendly at check in we were able to take our room at 10am as it was ready - not many hotels allow this we only stayed one night and the next morning asked to leave our bags for the day- the staff allowed us to keep the room for the entire day at no extra cost and could not have been more accommodating . pity more hotels can’t be like this!

Pool was a lot than than it appeared in the advert but still nice enough

the property is in general nice but the rooms are not well maintained very old furniture and you will only find a bottle of water in the fridge no coffee or anything.. not generous and not very clean the rooms have good view the hotel is around 7 or 8 minutes walk from the port and like 10 mns from the main attractions and the buffet was nice you can have your breakfast outside in the garden it was nice

i was at the property with my husband and 2 kids and after 5 minutes of our arrival the property owner complained of the noise my kids were playing and were so excited to discover the new place so we were asked to be quite which bothered me the most and the bathrooms not so clean there was a weird smell as if the cleaning wasn’t done properly

Perfect location, room was great good breakfast and staff were extremely helpful and nice. They allowed us to stay a little longer until our ferry arrived. Would definitely stay there again!

We had a lovely 3 days at this charming family run hotel. Highly recommend it. Breakfast was fantastic!

The location is fantastic, very central, the sea is nearby. The staff is excellent, super friendly and very helpful. The property has this unique Spetses island flair; very authentic and cozy. The room had a wonderful balcony.

An excellent base and location for sightseeing around Spetses. Room no 29 was so lovely with a balcony overlooking down to the sea. This Family Run hotel is a shining example to bigger corporate chain hotels, in how to make guests feel at home! Nothing was too much for any of the staff and owner! Breakfast delightful, they even left us a bottle of bubbles for our wedding anniversary! If I had my time all over again, i would choose to stay right there in room 29 only for more time.... Great location close to restaurants and amenities. Very helpful staff led by Christine. Lovely hotel and rooms very generous in size and facilities- ours even had a jacuzzi bath! Fabulous breakfast and didnt expect bacon and eggs to be on offer. Thoroughly recommend for a stay in Spetses.

The location was great, very close to the centre of town and the boat. The property was very clean and very comfortable. The food and small bar was super and the hotel accommodated my wife who has a gluten intolerance. The staff were fantastic, 2nd to none I’ve met before. I would highly recommend.

Finding a hotel is a daunting task - is it a good location? Is the hotel hygienic and worth the rate charge? Is hotel calm, pleasant and quiet when we need to sleep? The online reviews and comparisons are never ending and often misleading. I did my research, compared hotels and let me tell you, this hotel kept popping up at the top of my list, and it MOST definitely was worth-it and surpassed all the above requirements. Kastro is one of those hotels where you get there, check-in and realise we made the perfect choice! It’s an outstanding, well maintained hotel and the staff will make you feel as if you’ve picked more than a place to sleep and rest - you’ve come to stay with people that are committed and genuinely care about your stay and comfort. The breakfast is fantastic, the swimming pool is in pristine shape, the rooms are always clean and shower amenities replenished daily. The facilities we stayed in (apartment) had a little kitchenette and gorgeous little balcony with a view of the sea and ships. A peaceful hub on the perfect island. Will we book and return again? - absolutely without a doubt.
