Villa Sofia

It was near Hagia Sophia as i wished. Also i was surprised they gave me much bigger room than i booked. It was a lovely view. Also the breakfast (if you have genius level u get them for free) was amazing!

Noise from the bars nearby- better have a good earplugs. Mould in the bathroom ventiliation. Here i strongly suggest to take care of the mould as it is really dangerous for the health and also gives an upleasant smell to the room as well.

Location was superb. The restaurant is excellent, as good as any high-end restaurant in Istanbul. The staff was very accommodating and, again, the location could not have been better.

Door locks were not very good, easy to push a door open even if locked. Although I don’t mind that the property is a little bit dated, it needs to be freshened up. There’s lots of old furniture that is in bad shape, lots of pieces of wood and paneling, missing, and windows not very secure.

Good relative price for a great location. Nice separate rooftop restaurant & view. Helpful and friendly reception staff.

Room a little tired, though large (203), could do with a spruce-up. Seems the rooftop separate restaurant is the cash-cow focus. But over-priced, presumably for the view. Plus, not great to have access door open from public restaurant to rooms. Biggest problem affecting comfort was the bad smell of the bathroom drains. Appreciate this may be difficult to manage but it needs addressing. Opening the bathroom door just makes the bedroom smell, even if windows are open. At least spend a little on scent diffusers - it might not wholly work but might be better than nothing? For one night when I literally just slept there I could put up with it, for any more I would complain and want to move.

the staff is genuinely friendly and assisting us if any.. the location is walkable to blue mosque hagia sofia and even walkable to eminonu. The rooftop facility for breakfast with stunning view.

the rooms was change due to water leaking on the family room, they provided us with interconnected room which slightly smaller. its unfortunate there was water disruption too. No parking available if u rented car.
