Le bruit de plancher dans les chambres … j ai cru que le voisin était rentré dans la chambre en pleine nuit … Le côté exigu des parties communes et aussi de la chambre elle même . On est quand même un peu loin d un hôtel noté 4 étoiles .

Very poor room information( what to do in an emergency as weren’t aware there was no night porter in hotel ). When we arrived the pleasant receptionist seemed preoccupied with preparing for I think an event . We weren’t told that the hotel was locked up early , ( they we’re aware we were going out to eat as the hotel restaurant was closed ) , and when we came back from an enjoyable dinner we couldn’t get in as the restaurant was locked - the receptionist had not told us this and hadn’t given us a code ! ? I rang the number on my booking .com info but unfortunately the person answering didn’t speak English ; after sometime with my basic French we were given the code but the whole affair was very concerning and we did wonder how safe we were in the hotel . I raised this issue with the hotel and the manager gave us a 10€ reduction on our parking which I accepted but did feel this didn’t properly cover our inconvenience - I’m afraid this means we won’t be recommending this hotel or staying again. Cabourg itself is a lovely place and I thoroughly recommend it - the restaurant at Henriette ( nearby ) is exceptionally good .
