Very good value for the decent place with the amenities needed.
The staff were very attentive and responsive to the chat room. Check-in process was straight forward.
The bathroom has a very strong damp smell, even with the ventilation on.
If you are afraid of or uncomfortable of insects, there are quite a few around the building and the extended area. It’s situated up a hill with quite a lot of plants around.
If you arrive without a car, it would be hard to reach with the luggage.

Can walk to place of interest in Otaru, quiet, free parking onsite and owner was responsive. Short walk to convenient store
There was stiff ramp in parking entrance

The location was perfect; close enough to all the activities, but far enough to have a parking space and quiet nights. The room was equipped with everything you’d need, including a washer and full size fridge.
The building smelled a bit when we checked in. Also there was a bit of odor from bathroom drainage. There could be a stool and washbowl (風呂桶) inside the bathroom.

Room size and price for the triple room.
Location. It's a bit of a hilly walk to centre. Not enough hooks to hang clothes
