The flat within this house is perfect for a short stay. The surrounding area is very quiet and peaceful. There are brilliant walks and cycle routes along the Drau right on the doorstep. We spent the day at Villach which is close by, which was really nice, unfortunately we couldn’t walk around for too long as it was 35 degrees and getting a bit toasty for our dogs paws. The flat has been well thought out, has a large kitchen and although the bed and living area are in the same room this was not an issue for us. The bed was very comfortabel, although I was glad we brought our own pillows as the ones in the flat were a bit limp and lumpy. The bathroom was very clean, as was the whole flat, and has a brilliant shower. We did not have much contact with the owner but they were polite and despite our language barrier friendly. There was an expected thunder storm heading our way with hail and they even came and offerred for us to put our car in their big shed to protect it from the possible damage. Very considerate.
