A beautiful, spacious Japanese home that is very conveniently located in the northern part of Kyoto. Walking distance to several temples and food spots. The home has a traditional Japanese room which we really like. The owner is also very friendly and was always available for questions.

Traditional Japanese house with Tatami, furniture and decoration with modern kitchen and toilet facilities. They said it had been a place for tea ceremony, so really a good place to feel the Japanese culture.
Good restaurants and nice temples nearby, basically I didn’t travel to city centre.
Loud cicada noise in the summer and so happened someone cut the trees next to property in the morning, but not the problem of property.
