Advertised location and price
No real front entrance that is clearly indicated on street. Had to drive around block and enter thru garage. One person at front desk was overwhelmed and no manage nor staff came to help. Check in to 45 min waiting in line.

Clean and offers a large variety for breakfast, had a nice bar too
We had to change rooms at midnight due to a loud beeping sound however they gave us another room

The first floor lobby was beautiful. The mini-store was nicely stocked for late night snacks. The elevators were unlocked, which allowed the group of friends to go to each other's rooms. Loved the bathroom, the walk-in shower, and the soap/shampoo dispensers. Very polite and helpful front desk staff.
Nothing!

The location, close to 16th Street Mall, very close to the Convention Center, and an easy walk to Union Station. Fantastic view of the Rockies, if you have a room on the west side of the building and an upper floor. Breakfast was superior and the kitchen in room was really nice too.
Actually there isn't anything that I find that is a negative for this property.

Room was great and very comfortable
Timing of the elevators took so long.

The room was spacious.
The staff did not service my room over the three days I stayed at the hotel. The shower was dirty when I arrived.

Very good, it is my fifth time I stayed in this hotel.
The men restroom at the basement was not very clean. Some papers with blood.
No water bottles at the gym.

a bit expensive per day charge

I loved the mountain view and the shower was great. It was nice to have the kitchen access and all the necessities there if needed.
Upon arriving at our room when placing my personal items down there was what looked and felt like sand on the counter and on the bed. Not very thrilled about that.
When checking into the hotel it took a moment for someone to help us despite there being multiple people up front.
When we were helped the lady was polite to us, but the way she addressed a co-worker was very rude and disrespectful. I didn't care for that at all.
Thought the breakfast would have been better for the price we paid to stay there.

Perfect Location in Downtown Denver. Very close to 16th Street Free shuttle. Long breakfast hours are great!
No complaints. Was a little more than I usually pay but other downtown hotels were close in price.

Clean and modern hotel, close to entertainment and restaurants (at least by car).
Decent free breakfast. Large gym. The room was spacious and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. There was a full size fridge with a real freezer, microwave, and sink && dishwasher as well as kitchenware.
The bathroom was great with plenty of towels and nice toiletries.
The room was advertised as having a "kitchenette" which should mean actual cooking facilities, not just a microwave.
There is no self parking in this hotel and the valet is a whopping 52$ a day.
6.0
The breakfast was par for the course for a free breakfast. I only really enjoyed the yogurt and orange juice.
The reception staff were very nice and friendly. I really enjoyed the valet option since leaving my car in a parking lot across the street made me uncomfortable given the location of the hotel. The view from our room was really pretty in the mornings, you could see the mountains very clearly. I also loved that it included a kitchenette, though we didn't really use it much besides the microwave.
The free breakfast is always a plus, but the biscuits were rock hard and un-enjoyable. I decided on a bagel instead and the bagel was very stale and also hard to eat. The bacon that was cooked was as thin as a piece of paper and disintegrated into crumbles when picked up.
I was also charged a $160 deposit that was supposed to be refunded after we checked out, but on my bank statements its still there.
I also did not know that there was a $52 overnight valet parking charge until they sent me an email saying what I should expect. I set aside cash for the valet and they ended up charging my card without telling me until we checked out. Then I was charged a random $44 fee that wasn't explained well to me. We stayed for 2 nights, valet should have been $104. The receptionist said the $44 charge will fall off after a few days.
So for two nights, we paid $385.03, plus $52 a night so $104.00, plus a $160 deposit, plus the random $44 fee, so for 2 nights in Denver at Home2 Suites, you're looking at $693.03.
I'd say the overall experience for my first time in Colorado was about a 6/10.

The location was very close to the Colorado Convention Center where I had my meetings. It is also close to a number of good restaurants and shops. Museums were also within walking distance. My suite was very comfortable and liked that there were no more small bottles and wasteful containers. Shampoos, lotions etc are in dispensing containers.
Breakfast choices were very limited for vegetarians. It would be good if there was a salad bar for fresh vegetables and cheeses. There was also too much plastic such as plastic spoons and fork.

Lobby area was nice. The room was nice as well. The location was good.
Breakfast was disappointing. Largely unhealthy food on throw-away plates. There was some cut fruit the first day but not thereafter. The bagels were moist and mushy.
We reported the bathroom floor was not clean at check in and the manager made us feel that it was our fault. (They promised to clean it but they never did)
We got the room because it had a kitchen but the only cooking equipment was a microwave.

Staff was awesome: Mishka & Andre were very welcoming, efficient & friendly. I felt well taken care of, and the facilities + location were good for me. Really impressed at room size, furnishings, view, and wonderful hot breakfast. I was there primarily on business, & would like to return to this hotel w/ family. I know they'll love it as I did.
Random issue: Upon first entering room, doing a usual walk-through to ensure everything worked (all checked out fine)...But a 4" piece of iron bedframe sticking out from underneath coverlet, didn't see it & took a hurtful bruise on my ankle. After mentioning that to Andre @ front desk, Wade from maintenance quickly fixed things up. No problems at all afterwards, things were good.

Excellent breakfast and room. Friendly, helpful staff. Walking distance to 16th street free bus and station.
Rooms were more expensive than I am used to, so we had to share with our adult kids as an extra room would have been too expensive. I must admit that the hotel and service were of a higher quality than where we usually stay.

I really loved how kind the staff was to me and my cousin. I also loved the cleanliness and how easy it was to get in contact with the staff.
Although the hotel enforced COVID protocols, it would have been nice for housekeeping to come on a schedule.
