From the moment we arrived, Isaac and Doris welcomed us with genuine warmth, kindness, and hospitality that made us feel like family rather than guests. What truly sets this place apart is the personal touch and the incredible effort they put into making sure every guest feels comfortable, valued, and at home. Isaac goes above and beyond to assist wherever he can — even offering to go the extra mile with little things like helping with shopping and making sure everything you need is taken care of. His dedication and willingness to help truly show the heart behind their hospitality. Doris is an absolute gem and her famous Sunday lunch is a highlight that deserves special mention. It is a homemade experience filled with love, flavour, and care — the kind of meal that creates memories and reminds you what true hospitality is all about. La coppia che gestisce la guesthouse è morto cordiale, accogliente, premurosa. The couple who run the guesthouse died friendly, welcoming, caring.

Alcune cose non corrispondono alla descrizione: le camere non hanno il bagno privato, bensì condiviso. La struttura richiede il pagamento anticipato di un deposito tramite bonifico, nel mio caso, dall’Italia, il trasferimento internazionale mi è costato una commissione superiore all’importo stesso del bonifico Al momento del check out mi è stato addebitato una penale di 200 rand per un supposto ritardo nell’arrivo, secondo la loro dichiarazione sarei arrivato 15 minuti dopo il termine dell’orario. Non avevo un cronometro, ma anche se fossi stato 15 minuti in ritardo che brutta sorpresa! Some things do not match the description: the rooms do not have a private bathroom, but shared. The structure requires the advance payment of a deposit by bank transfer, in my case, from Italy, the international transfer cost me a commission higher than the amount of the bank transfer itself At the time of check out I was charged a penalty of R200 for an alleged delay in arrival, according to their statement I would have arrived 15 minutes after the end of the time. I didn't have a stopwatch, but even if I was 15 minutes late what a bad surprise!

Breakfast was not included in my booking, we had free cups of coffee on the first day. I was using self catering .

There is a lack of administration / reception to welcome new clients and to do telephone contacts with them not only email. On the day of arrival in Cape town it was a struggle to get a venue although I knew the area of Kuilsriver & we get lost because there was no telephone contact. That caused the delay for time to check-in , i was late for 15-20 minutes.
