Good location
The host gave us pleasant recommendations, namely a trip to the Etna volcano and the Alcantara Gorge accompanied by a guide.
Close to the train station and buses for visiting other sights
Pay attention to the buses because they don't really follow the schedule.
The bus terminal is at a certain distance from the bus boarding location.
Tickets cannot be bought from the driver at the bus terminal.

The location was amazing right beside the train station and the bus station and only a 20 minute walk to the nearby beach. Everything you needed was in the apartment, lovely comfy bed , great shower and kitchen , everything was clean , aircon was super helpful too.
The only thing was the fridge, even on the coolest setting it was too warm and a lot of the food we had bought went bad very quick which was annoying.

Everything was great, location is amazing! It is near the city centre as well as the train and bus station.

good value, very good communication with the host
location is a bit off the center, with approximately 20 minute walking distance to the main square. (it is close to the train station and the bus station so in that sense it is comfortable for frequent commuting).
located on the ground floor with one window.
not the cleanest or the tidiest place. mattress is very old and uncomfortable. sleeping area in a loft with steep steps (might not work for everyone)
