Easy to find and location

There was no food available in the restaurant on Friday night and no nearby alternative.

The room size was good and the general layout of the resort was fine with very convenient onsite parking. Breakfast was limited but adequate. The reception staff were always helpful. We were visiting this area to get some sense of the wonderful Doi Tung Development Program and chose this property as our base. However, we discovered it is located at the bottom of Doi Tung, meaning a drive up the range to start the day, which was not ideal. Not the properties fault, but I make this point in case others have a similar thought.

The room though spacious seems to have limited insulation so it got very cold in the evening. We had to use double duvets to stay warm overnight. The installed aircon unit does not have a heat function so that was no use in heating the room. This issue would only be relevant during the two to three winter months but it certainly impacted our stay. The bathroom is extremely dated, and the shower unit definitely needs to be updated. The onsite restaurant was only served breakfast during our stay so we had to travel 2km to the next town to find dinner, and the choices were exceptionally limiting!
