Plaza Hotel

Seafront location, our suite had a big balcony overlooking with a nice view, perfect for sunrise. Few options for the morning breakfast as well, freshly cooked food. The staff is friendly Parking available in front of the hotel

The accommodation was absolutely fantastic overall. The balcony had a beautiful direct view of the sea and a large part of the city. We spent a lot of time there, especially in the evenings, just sitting outside and enjoying the view. The room was clean, beautifully renovated, and the size was perfect for two people. The bed was comfortable and we slept very well. The air conditioning was new and worked perfectly, so we could cool the room down at night. The staff were always extremely friendly and helpful. The beach directly in front of the hotel was also excellent (although it is not part of the hotel), with beautiful clean water, a beach bar, toilets and changing facilities. The main square of the city, with lots of restaurants and shops, is only a few minutes away. Overall, the location is excellent and we were very happy with our stay.

There were only a few small things that could be improved. If I could, I would give 9.5, but since that is not possible, I don't want to give 9 because, despite these minor issues, we were extremely satisfied with our stay. We really missed having a clothes drying rack on the balcony. Even just a simple clothesline with a few pegs would have been great. Without one, after swimming every day we had to use the outdoor furniture to dry our wet swimwear. Since this is a seaside accommodation, I think a drying rack would be very useful. There was also very little storage space in the room. There was basically no proper wardrobe, only one larger drawer. For an 8-day stay, it would have been nice to have more space to unpack and properly store our clothes. The air conditioning drainage is unfortunately positioned so that the water flows underneath/in front of the sofa on the balcony. This is a little inconvenient, as you can easily step into the water if you go outside without slippers and then bring the water back into the room. It would be better if the drainage could be arranged so that the water does not flow across the balcony. The bathroom is beautiful and recently renovated, but the shower area is completely level with the rest of the bathroom, and the glass panel only covers about half of the shower. As a result, after taking a shower, the whole bathroom floor gets wet. There is a rubber strip on the floor that seems to have been added afterwards, but it is already partly coming loose and does not prevent much water from escaping. A shower curtain, a better barrier at the edge of the shower, or simply a mop for cleaning up afterwards would make this much more convenient. Finally, although breakfast was always plentiful and everything that ran out was quickly replaced, it was exactly the same every day. After a few days, a little variety would have been nice.

la posizione è sicuramente buona, praticamente 10 minuti da Piazza San Marco e di fronte al mare, anche se non è un tratto sabbioso.

la stanza veramente molto piccola, anche se pulita, ma soprattutto con un balcone che dava su di un muro, quindi senza vista mare, senza vista montagna e senza vista città.....occhio a quando prenotate alla scelta della stanza, anche perchè la proprietaria scrive solo camera con balcone, senza specificare.
