"Not our first stay at the Mews, but we keep going back as it's such a gem of a hotel. Set in easy walking distance of Ossett, but you don't need to venture out as everything you need is here. Welcomin..."

Great staff, room, menu and drink selection.

7 / 10Buono·set 2026

The hotel is impeccably clean and well-presented. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, which my husband particularly appreciated. I certainly look forward to the possibility of staying here again.

I experienced significant noise disturbance from traffic throughout the night due to my room's location facing the main road, and I also found the bathroom door to be somewhat difficult to open.

The room was quiet and had its own entrance, which was a plus. Parking was easy too. The bathroom had a walk in shower, which was good, but there were unfortunately no grab rails anywhere. Handy location for transport routes.

The room felt small for a superior room and the bedside lights were very inadequate for reading in bed. The double bed wasn’t terribly comfortable. Breakfast was adequate, but far from a traditional English breakfast. Nor was it a continental one. Plain yogurt not offered - just sweetened ones.
