The hotel is in a great location in White Town, with cafes, restaurants, the beach, the park all within easy walking distance. The rooms are very large and mine had a four poster bed. It is a pretty building with a pretty central courtyard.

The rooms are a little tired, with the bathroom fixtures delivering little water pressure and several tiles having been replaced but not like-for-like. The curtains are a little bit overwhelming in the rooms. They are quite thick, floor to ceiling, and bright blue, which jars a little with the natural wooden furniture and floors of the rooms. Blinds might be a more aesthetic option? The breakfast was disappointing - it's probably the most minimal breakfast buffet I have experienced in India. Some of the buffet was laid out in the courtyard and the crows were helping themselves!

Outstanding rooms! The history there is amazing. Beautiful stay.
