Gorgeous old farmhouse, with an incredible collection of vintage items. Beautiful wooden staircase. The downstairs family room is just lovely. Breakfast was generous and delicious, Hanri was a wonderful hostess and the garden is incredible. We arrived late and left early the following morning - next time we will need to stay a bit longer in order to explore. Very special place, I would love to spend a few days here.
Road is quite far in dark and rain - this wouldn't be an issue in dry weather or in daytime. Please mention on the description that food has to be booked a day in advance. We booked as we left Stellenbosch, and were terribly disappointed to eat garage pies on our drive when we discovered that we were too late to order supper.

"The room was super comfy. We did a night drive and saw incredible Karoo animals. Very friendly and caring staff. The most amazing garden you have ever seen in the Karoo. Great birdlife."
