The San Giovanni has beautiful rooms, delicious breakfasts & a quiet relaxing atmosphere.
I thought I could pop into Lefkada easily - if u can ride a bike it takes no time or reception will get u a taxi

It seemed fairly new, lovely and clean with fresh towels and bed linen every day. The beds at the pool were very comfortable and the whole area was very clean. We used the hotel bikes which were quite old but worked well and gave us easy access to the town as we didn’t have a car.
The music played in the bar area by the pool was very loud and with a heavy beat. We found this disturbed the otherwise very tranquil atmosphere. The younger bar staff didn’t really seem to know how to offer good service, they were on duty for the afternoon.

Staff were helpful, giving out towels for the pool plus umbrellas if you want to go to the beach.
Breakfast was good with variety.
Fofo at breakfast was the absolute best. She makes amazing coffee and loukoumades and in general was the highlight of our stay there. She gave us the best recommendations for restaurants and different places to visit! The beach in front of the hotel is not great for swimming since it has huge rocks in it but you can enjoy an amazing sunset at the end of the day!!!
Hotel and the beach doesn’t look like the pictures at all.
Beach was rough and windy and it’s mostly for kite surfing and windsurfing.
The towel rack in the bathroom fell the moment we placed a towel on it.
Kids were all day at the pool screaming making sure no one else was able to have a good time by the pool at all times and no one was doing anything about it.
And we got scolded by Eirini because we got in the pool 2 minutes before 8pm one night that was the only time that kids were not screaming and running around.
