The Mangrove Phuket by Blu Monkey

Had a fantastic stay! The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The property was lovely overall, although it felt a little smaller than expected considering it’s a resort. The breakfast and food were also very nice. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and professional throughout our stay. A special mention to Apple, Paper and Nana, the lovely lady at breakfast, who were all absolutely wonderful and made our stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend and would be happy to stay again!

It is a quiet place. Since we have a car, it wasn't a problem going out to restaurants and places of interests.

Breakfast. No provisions for local food.

Free kayaking. This place suitable for seniors or people who's dislike party, and really enjoying the quiet environment. If you want to visit near by towns just need 10 mins drive, u can call Uber or use free shuttle or rent a bike from the hotel. Very friendly staff and good service.

It’s quiet and tranquil. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The TV in the villas has netflix/youtube. We upgraded to the connecting villas that has a jacuzzi. The pool is small, if the resort is not in its peak season then it’s fine.

The distance to the city, no private beach. There is a beach but you CANNOT swim or let kids play on the sand. You have to travel to a beach a few kms away. We requested for connecting rooms before arrival as we travel with 3 young kids but they provided us with two villas one on the hill and one at the bottom. The villas they gave were not exactly next to each other. Phuket was so rainy that we couldn’t bear the thought of our young kids climbing and going down those slippery stairs. One particular staff was especially unfriendly- she seems to be the supervisor/superior there. When we informed about the situation she was super unhelpful and had this cold demeanour. No empathy as if we were an inconvenience. The toilet was clogged…twice. In the end we paid to upgrade to connecting villas for our children’s safety. It’s pretty far from any 7E and is located within a village/province. You’d need to take a bike or car to the nearest 7E. The resort’s shuttle bus schedule is also very scarce and leaves you with no options.
