Booking.com makes the process very tricksy. I felt bounced between website and emails and was confused by a 4-digit code from the site which I thought was the key code. The host was extremely kind in letting us in at midnight.

The location, fairly close to our family and the privacy it gave us. The kitchen was good and the two bedrooms suited us very well.
We couldn't find any trays to use in the oven.
The Wifi connected OK, but the internet wasn't available. The Wifi connection kept dropping and going through the process of "obtaining an IP address". If any of the TV services (eg. Netflix) were supposed to be available, they didn't work. This wasn't a big problem but a little disappointing.

Cafes are round the corner, with excellent service and full English breakfast plus. Great distance from city centre as you can park in Huddersfield very easily. Lots of attractions only a few miles away, including pretty Marsden and the moors.

Beautiful large accommodation and close to shops and bars, close to Huddersfield.
Fitted out with all mod cons and very clean
The fact the window couldn't open for the flowers (which I loved)
Also issue with deposit back was not done via bank transfer so had to wait 4 days.
