The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed the proximity to the strip and usually walked as the complementary shuttle was often too crowded to accommodate everyone waiting. The room was nice and mostly had what we needed. The only downside was there were a couple of days when the staff was working gardening and we were woken up early in the morning by the blowers and trimmers (we had a pool view room). We did not use most of the resort amenities however the free parking was very convenient.

Excellent location. We loved the extra space. Check in was fast and easy. Beautiful property. Excellent communication with the host.

This place was awesome. The amount of space my family had was something you just don’t get at a Strip hotel. So we were grateful for that!Honestly, the ONLY negative was the aggressive timeshare sales pitch at check in. But I stood firm saying no an eventually I was able to leave. Without that, it would have been a perfect stay!

Here to celebrate daughter’s 36th birthday!!. We loved our stay at The Wyndham Grand Desert Resort. Check in and check out simple and fast. Management and all staff members we encountered were welcoming, pleasant, professional and accommodating. The unit furnishings are modern and the kitchen has all your essentials (no blender). Large dining room table that seated at least six. The bathrooms are good size and master has a jetted tub. The beds were, oh so comfortable!! The resort amenities and pools were great, especially the pool/hot tub, that stayed open 24 hours. We were a late check in after midnight and unfortunately the unit was not cleaned very well. We began to clean unit with disinfectant wipes and called down to the front desk. A manager came up immediately to view the issues of our concerns and offered to relocate us to another unit and or have our unit cleaned and sanitized again in the morning.. We did go and view the other unit and it had less minor cleaning issues, but still some issues, so we decided to finish cleaning our unit and stay there. Unfortunately this resort as with many of these types of properties are all so under staffed, but are doing their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible!!! The efforts made by the manager to accommodate us and resolve our issues (this time it’s after 1:30 a.m.) were greatly appreciated. The resort is not to far from the strip (resort offers shuttle to the strip) and close to stores. The resort is a time share property and they do offer their pitch for time share ownership. If not your thing, refuse and continue your great vacation there. The Wyndham Grand Desert is our new destination vacation spot and we will come again. We highly recommend staying at this property.
