The house is in immaculate shape. Very clean and comfortable. You can tell the owners take great pride in this house.

Property was just as pictured. The rapids were right off the steps leading down into the river. Just a few feet away is the dam where the kids enjoyed snorkeling! Our entire family enjoyed this trip immensely!
You might need to take note that they only offer a standard coffee maker - not for kcups. This was the one thing we didn't prepare for.
We will definitely stay there again!!

The house is spacious, very clean. Perfectly situated on the river. Can fish or play in river from backyard. Canyon lake and tubing rentals are less than 10 mins away. New braunfels and gruene 20 min drive. Very noce and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend

Our 3rd stay at the trout house was great. The river right at our back yard was perfect.
The pictures accurately depict the house. It could use a bit of updating but it was just what we needed.
We will be back next year!

We loved our stay at the trout river house! Very well maintained, spacious house. Everything worked well there except for the low flow shower head in the master bath. That thing is a crime against humanity. But otherwise the house was great, excellent river access. We absolutely smashed the trout, catching 26 up to 22 inches long. Great back yard and the boys loved chasing lightning bugs. I highly recommend and we will be back. Please change the shower head before next time!

This house and property surpassed our expectations. It was such a nice peaceful place to have our family vacation. We loved sitting on the back porch in the mornings drinking our coffee, watching the deer, and listening to the sounds of the river. During the day the river was definitely a nice refreshing place to put lawn chairs and hang out. We couldn’t have asked for a better place (neighborhood) to get together and enjoy family time while enjoying the river!

We loved the little town very friendly and helpful. The home had a childhood feeling to it and absolutely loved that feeling. We are very much returning to this home.

Thanksgiving trip to meet family for food, fun and fly fishing. Home is ROOMY, CLEAN and COMFORTABLE. What more could we ask?

We loved our stay! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We loved being able to walk right down in the river to play. We would definitely stay here again!

The house is very big and clean. Nice deck out back. Great location next to clean river with great sights and sounds. But please clear the brush by the river side to improve the view.

Perfect location with easy access to the river. We went for a concert at Whitewater and stayed thru the weekend.
Plenty of room for 3 couples and a pack n play or two. Make sure to bring your water chairs and tubes.
Would give 5 stars if there was any necessities on-site like salt + pepper, coffee, cooking oils. Sucks to have to buy those for just 3 days.

The house was a perfect size and decent location for relaxing. Nice deck facing the river where you could sit and listen and watch the current. The yard was a little steep for me but the kids loved it. The house was spotless and the beds were comfortable. Nice stay for us!

The house was a perfect size and decent location for relaxing. Nice deck facing the river where you could sit and listen and watch the current. The yard was a little steep for me but the kids loved it. The house was spotless and the beds were comfortable. Nice stay for us!

We had 5 adults and one child. The house was perfect. Right on the river. Also loved the campfire ring right beside the river. The steps and rail made it so easy to get down to the river. We had a great Thanksgiving weekend at The Trout River House

The house is very nice, with direct access to the Guadalupe River. The beds are great, and the location is quiet. The lot slopes significantly down to the river, and you should be careful as you walk down. We had a 6 inch rainstorm during our stay, and it messed up the fishing.

Fabulous home away from home! We enjoyed being able to have our kids and grandbaby at this beautiful home. The river right out in the back yard was a major bonus for us. The house was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed to enjoy family breakfast and lunch on the beautiful back patio. Definitely will be staying here again.

This house is very clean and the kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed being on the river where it is located. The house layout is nice and accommodates 6 people very well. I was also impressed with Vacasa. We would love to return.
