Farmhouse with pool - for 7 adults + 4 kids

Situated in the midst of the countryside, with amazing views, and less than a 10 minute drive from the market town of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, one can find this beautifully restored farmhouse with private pool. It can guest up to 7 adults and 5 children in 4 large bedrooms and two sofabeds in the living areas.
This spacious and airy property has been renovated with a great deal of care, and boasts original chestnut beams, hand made chestnut windows (some of which are traditional tuscan style brick windows) and exposed stonework.
The house is ideally situated for both winter and summer holidays: the beautiful ski resorts of Appenines are at 20 minutes driving (Casone di Profecchia) or one hour (Abetone)!!
Modern comforts have not been forgotten and there are 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one for guests with reduced mobility), two kitchens, two living/dining areas, Each room has a wonderful view: one bedrooms and one living room open to the beautiful, large terrace with a stunning view over Apuan Alps and the country below, where you can comfy have breakfast or just relax in the sun.
The design of the house makes it ideal for large groups, each requiring some privacy from the other, in terms of bedroom, living and kitchen space, but still wishing to spend some time together. It is possible for all to dine together both inside and out.
Outside, there is the beautiful private pool (4M x 8M ) and another sunny terrace, and a very spacious porch , with a large dining table and grassed area surrounding the rest.
Around us there are so many things to do and see!: the National Parks, the Adventure Parks, and the Garfagnana Golf course is just at 2 kms. Horse ridings and hiking trips can be organized near us . In winter, ski resort Casone di Profecchia, is at 30 minutes driving.
The historical charming towns of Barga, Bagni di Lucca, Lucca are at less than one hour driving.
The nearest grocery store, bar and a sport activities centre with tennis court are at 10 minutes walking, crossing through a small dike that is just around the corner, forming a small lake. A larger village with all services is at about 3 kms.
The parking is possible both in front of the house, or in a private parking across the road.
The pool is usually opened from May 15th to September 15th, of course depending also on weather conditions.

it was a nice house with a nice location and a nice pool. But it was quite a long trip if you wanted to go to a bigger city... at some times there could be quite a lot of bees at the pool, it was quite annoying.

We stayed here with two couples for a quiet get-away. The house was very roomy and well equipped with everything we needed. The private pool was great! Everything was very clean and quiet, great views as well, and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Also lots of fun activities to do nearby, like canyoning.

Wir haben einen schönen Urlaub in einem tollen Haus verbringen dürfen. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Genau wie auch beschrieben. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen.
Der Pool ist ein Traum.
Wir haben uns bei Euch sehr wohl gefühlt und können Euch und Euer Haus nur weiterempfehlen.
