Location, apartment quality, apartment security, and apartment amenities.
Malignant odor from bathroom plumbing.

Superb location for Edinburgh Festival, we were able to walk everywhere that we wanted to go to, so we didn't have to spend anything on travel around the city and got all our steps in! The flat was a nice size, in a lovely block of apartments and it felt safe there.
A tiny bit of street noise and voices from passers by at night - but that's to be expected in the heart of Edinburgh - bring ear plugs if you are concerned about that. Having a sofa bed worked out well for us as we were travelling as two friends and could have a room each.

A lovely modern flat with everything you need, easy check in and a fab location right next to the castle.
There was four of us so we had the sofa bed set up which isn't particularly comfortable! but the main bed in the bedroom was lovely.

Decor was great....though rooms were small . However for an overnight stay it was fine.
As soon as you enter the apartment there was a foul smell.....like sewage
It disappeared after awhile
