Apartment was quiet and walkable to downtown McCall. Kitchen had everything. Tastefully redecorated and updated.

Giant puddle of motor oil in the designated parking spot, lucky we noticed before we entered apartment and avoided tramping oil all over the floors. Apartment thermostat was set at 55 when we arrived and it took the entire night for the electric strip heaters to bring the temp up to something comfortable, thank goodness they provided electric fan heaters to help with that. Warning : This vacation rental is managed by Vacasa which makes it virtually impossible to speak with anyone who is local to the area. Every time I called or texted Vacasa I was answered by a robot or someone in another country who would not let me speak to someone in the McCall area. We left a laptop in the room (which was completely our fault) but trying to organise pickup of this item was a total nightmare. Vacasa would not put me in touch with the local team. It was three very stressful days as I tried to establish contact with the local team, while Vacasa representatives just stonewalled me time and time again. I was under the impression I was using Booking.com but I got Vacasa instead. I will never again stay in a property managed by Vacasa.
