The room was tidy and clean. Was welcomed by the host at the door, and they gave a great room tour and explained the best things to do in Skye. Very responsive to contact also.

Very nice host and large room. They offer continental breakfast from 8:00 to 8:45, but city is about 15 min away by foot, where they also have cafes.
You can hear people in the corridor talking very clearly from the rooms.

Very clean, comfortable and warm, modern, homely decor, great value.
Friendly and helpful owner, made good recommendations and knows the island well.
5-10min walk to main area in Portree so great location after exploring the island during the day.
The owner was lovely but we felt conscious of timings/avoiding making noise/taking shoes off as it was part of their house, just wanted to flag for others incase this isn’t the sort of stay you’re looking for.
We decided against breakfast as no vegan option advertised, plenty of shops/cafes in Portree though.

The room is very cozy and clean. also the condition is in line with the photos in Booking.com
the room heater was cut off during the night about 2-5am, i'm not sure but i woke up because the weather was super cold and realized that the heater was off. Just this thing...otherwise I will give this place high score of all topics.

Gillian was a very gracious host, so warm and welcoming. The room was fantastic, well heated, comfortable and impeccably clean.
I hadn't originally booked breakfast with our stay but was able to add it on arrival paying cash by the day for the delicious continental breakfast. With a fantastic view of the mountains from the breakfast room.
The B&B is only a few minutes walk from the charming town of portree or an even shorter drive.
Gillian had contacted us prior to our visit with some local restaurants for dinners which was greatly appreciated and booking in advance is essential as the town is very popular.
I would highly recommend this beautiful home for any stay.

i loved everything about the stay. you know it was a good vacation when you feel super sad to go back to your normal life haha! The host was wonderful and gave us loads of helpful suggestions about the places to visit. She helped us with some amazing breakfast even though we hadn't booked it in advance.

you can easily walk into town (and walk up again to the room 😀)
For us, two large dutchies, the bed was too small. the footboard didn’t help with that either.

Location was just outside Portree with a 15 minute walk which wasn't an issue for us. The breakfast was continental with a good selection of food. Their home is beautiful and our room was no different.

Exceptional b and b. Gillian who greeted us when we arrived was so welcoming and gave us lots of tips about the area. Lovely quiet location with easy parking on site. The room was large and immaculate with a lovely comfy bed and great quality linen. Fruit was also in the room which was a nice offering. Great shower which was hot and powerful . The property is an easy walk to the centre of Portree and restaurants and shops. Wonderful place to stay and great value for money
