(43) The Last Resort at The Redwoods In Yosemite
The Last Resort è una bellissima cabina in bronzo con 3 camere da letto e 3 bagni sul fiume Merced che può ospitare fino a 10 persone. Si trova proprio sulla forcella sud del fiume Merced, circondato da grandi querce e pini. La cucina completamente attrezzata sfoggia una lavastoviglie, un'isola, un'ampia dispensa e un'area bar per quattro persone. Il soggiorno ha un divano letto, una TV a schermo piatto, WiFi e un camino di roccia. La legna da ardere viene fornita dal proprietario della casa durante il mese più freddo. La spaziosa camera familiare dispone di un tavolo da biliardo, molti giochi da tavolo e un tavolo da gioco. La master suite ha due letti queen size e un camino in pietra con un ingresso laterale sul ponte. La seconda camera ha un letto full size e un proprio bagno. La terza camera ha un letto full size e un letto a castello. Questa cabina accetta animali domestici!
La cabina spaziosa e luminosa presenta splendidi arredi ovunque con molti accenti individuali, con riscaldamento / aria condizionata centralizzati, lavatrice e asciugatrice per la vostra convenienza, ventilatori a soffitto ovunque e grandi finestre pittoresche con porta scorrevole in vetro sul grande ponte che si affaccia sul fiume.
Oltre alla vista sul fiume, il ponte dispone anche di mobili imbottiti e barbecue a gas. Questa cabina ha davvero tutto!

The kitchen was well equipt and the layout was great for our group of 6 moms and 6 daughters! The location was just beautiful and we had a great stay. The fire place took us a bit to figure out since it is a wood burning gas fire place. We did see some mice while we were there but it was otherwise clean.

The absolute best thing about this accommodation is the location. The deck looks out over the river valley, and we walked to the river to a tiny little beach where the little ones could throw rocks in and float their boat on a string. We honestly probably could have spent every day enjoying the cabin. However, exploring Wawona was also fun, and it was a great launching point for exploring the rest of Yosemite. Everything in the accommodation worked great--good water pressure, newish appliances, air conditioning, etc. and it was a fantastic space for our group of 6 adults and two little ones. If you love a perfectly curated guest experience, this cabin might not be for you. None of the wall clocks were running. Some loose boards made the beautiful deck tough for bare feet. There was a Christmas wreath lying on the shelf under the entry table. There were seven(!) frying pans in the huge kitchen, but we could only find one cookie sheet. And although the kitchen and main living area were very clean, there was a fair amount of dirt in the corners of the bathrooms, and the baseboards needed a good wipe throughout. None of these were deal breakers, and we'd stay again for sure, but there were definitely details that no one was paying attention to--not what I've experienced before in a short-term rental.

This place is great. It’s big, great layout for a large group, 3 bathrooms and great kitchen with an island and everything you need to make various meals.
That being said, the two Queen mattresses in the master are horrible and need to be tossed and replaced. They literally concave in the center. My husband chose the floor instead. We mentioned it to housekeeping on day 2 and they said they’d do something but we never heard back.
The entire place is just in need of a detailed walk through. Bathrooms and general areas were all clean for sure, but closets, corners, drawers, shelves all just need a detailed eye and good spring cleaning. Everything was fine, but nothing seemed or smelled freshly cleaned. I hope that makes sense.
