First let me say that Fabrizio is a fantastic host and responded immediately to all our requests but there were some problems. The property was advertised as "stunning", I find this a slight exaggeration because it is lacking in quite a few basics. As it is basically two apartments, one would expect the kitchens to be able to cater for two families. Both were lacking in basic items, only one damaged kettle, one very small toaster, no side plates, only two chipped cups, all plates were either chipped or cracked and no knives to cook with. The bathrooms really need some form of heating as they were both quite cold in the morning and both showers are in desperate need of up grading. On a plus side, the beds are very comfortable and sitting around the dining table in the lower apartment in the evening with the fires burning was very pleasant. The garden is amazing with stunning views and bird song plus a good BBQ area with seating. I appreciate it is an old property but it does need some modernisation. If these problems were addressed we would return in a heartbeat. Fabrizio owns a Mini Market in the village which is very convenient for the basics.

This place is even more charming than the photos. The manager, Fabrizio, met us at the house and showed us around. The view from every angle is of Mt. Etna or the sea....gorgeous! There were fresh flowers in vases and fresh water in the fridge. Plus, we went down the road to the store Fabrizio owns and we tried local meats, cheese and wine and bought food for the next day. Fabrizio helped arrange a guided tour of Mt Etna, and shared many other food and activity suggestions as well.

Our Stay was a Dream. The House have everything You need to cook and feel comfortable. The Garden is so awesome, if the weather is good you can see the ätna on the one side and on the other side you see the sea… We will come back to your House Fabrizio, Thank You for everything! Fabi & Annika

Das Haus war bezaubernd. Tolle Lage mit atemberaubender Aussicht aufs Meer und den Ätna. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und sorgten sich gut um uns. Das Haus entsprach unseren Vorstellungen und Ansprüchen. Wir genossen den Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen. Es war perfekt uns von unseren langen abenteuerlichen Tagen zu erholen. Die Lage ist toll, mit dem Auto kommt man schnell überall hin. Auch weitere Ausfahrten sind von diesem Ort super zu machen, z.B. Noto / Lido di Noto. Die Stadt Riposto ist wunderschön und lädt ein zu verweilen. Auch das Dorf in dem wir wohnten konnte man gut Essen. Ich empfehle diesen Vermieter sehr gerne weiter.
