Everything, always friendly. Clean.
8 / 10Eccellente·set 2026
Our room was comfortable, facilities in the room were excellent. Very clean. The only member of staff we met was lovely, friendly, polite and exceptionally busy as she was on her own…
We ate at the hotel in their Indian restaurant which was very good food although to traditional and too spicy for me it was nice and very well presented.
Breakfast was disappointing, cold full English, minimal serving for the cost and tasteless sausages and bacon. Disappointed as was reviewed as excellent when we were looking.
Felt sorry for the lovely young woman who was reception, waitress, cook, cleaner all in one! Poor woman was exhausted!

We got a very warm welcome and the staff were very good. The hotels decor was very nice and it was spotless.
Shower leaked badly on to the floor. Continental breakfast was adequate.

The location to Matlock and Matlock bath.
Bar not open on a Monday . We wanted to sit in the bar and relax on our first night. Even other guest were disappointed in this.
