Rührei war um 9:30 Uhr schon aus und wurde auch nicht nachgelegt, sonst gutes Frühstück

Leider zur Zeit auf der Anreise ist die Rosenauerstraße eine Baustelle, welche verwirrend sein kann. Man kommt aber von der Stadt aus durch, obwohl mehrmals ein Durchfahrtverbotszeichen (Stand Mai 2024)
Hotel trotzdem ruhig, man fühlte sich willkommen und nicht abgefertigt. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Alles vom Hotel her sehr gut trotz Renovierungsarbeiten. Umgebung nicht so toll. Aber ich würde wieder kommen

We checked in the afternoon of 19 June 2023, Ms. Brigitta, Darabos warmly welcomed us. As we are an old couple over 70 years and with a lot of luggage, she kindly told us that she would give us a free upgraded bigger room No 418，and she also immediately offered her kind help for our luggage until our room. She helped us also to check the bus information for the old city and Veste Coburg. Her high quality of excellent customer-oriented service greatly helped us and deeply touched us.
Our sincere thanks also go to Ms. Sandra Franz from the afternoon and evening shift. She has also tried her best to make our stay in your hotel happy and comfortable, giving us also different information about restaurants and shops. We are extremely happy to make the best choice of your hotel for our stay in Coburg! Both of them helped also for our camera fogotten in the hotel.

The only negative aspect was that it was really warm and there was no air conditioning.

Location was within 10-15 minute walking distance of the center.
Facilities were good for a short stay.
No A/C and we had to have the windows open as it was a warm weekend.
There was a wedding at the connected restaurant to the hotel, with celebrations well into the morning.
We could not close the windows to dampen the noise due to the temperature in the room.

I liked my balcony overlooking a garden. Good selection at breakfast.
They did not have a restaurant although there was one next door.Seemed to be closed so went into town centre and found a kebab shop.

There was a lift but to get to it you had to pull your case 4-5 steps high.

Staff at reception and service at breakfast was excellent.
Hotel room was cleaned up and has enough space for everything.
Parking situation was tricky. Maybe because I arrived at 8 pm. But had to park 1 km away in a public parking area.

Our stay at the Best Western Blankenburg Hotel was wonderful. It is located very close to the market square area and has many restaurant options nearby...all within walking distance. We were greeted with a friendly face at check-in and given a map and suggestions of places to see and eat. The staff is outstanding and made us feel very welcome. Breakfasts were wonderful! The entire property is very clean and bright. I highly recommend this property for anyone traveling to visit beautiful Coburg, with or without children.
It's hard to say anything negative because we had such a nice stay. I would recommend a fan in the room to circulate air since there is no air conditioning.
