great location right in front of the beach. We had a beautiful beach view from our balcony. The breakfast was delicious and the staff very friendly.

Our room didn’t get cleaned during our stay and the wifi only worked in the reception area.

This is a very authentic place with little elements of comfort near the ocean. Its confirmed my expectations. The breakfasts were very homely, it was cute.

The Beach cabanas are without AC rooms inside have one. It was very clean and stuff was nice! Directly at a beach to surf.

we loved our cabana soo much, we regret we couldn't stay longer. guys who works there are nice and cute. breakfast is fine. bed was comfortable. outdoor toilet is cool. mosquito net was perfectly clean as anywhere in lanka :-) place is quite and peaceful ( except crows haha ).

Amazing host that went the extra mile to make guests happy and brought a group of gusts together to surf, eat amazing fish and spend time together. Thanks AJ!

there is everything in the room what you need. the bathroom is „outside“ whats very lovely cause its warm all the time :) the breakfast was really good, you can decide from different dishes. Also during the day you can eat there, the menu is big and the food is very good. the prices are very friendly! the staff was super nice!

Perfect location at the beach. Excellent breakfast with variety of fresh fruits (the best we had in Sri Lanka). Very friendly and professional stuff, comfortable rooms/cabanas wth balcony and nice view. But what really impressed me was the host - very friendly and helpful for everything, a problem solver if needed. Special thanks for all the assistance he granted! I recommend this place!

The location (away from the most crowded part of the beach) is great, we really liked the surfing lessons, and the cabanas look beautiful.

Despite our confirmed booking, we were told on arrival that our cabana was not in use because the stairs were broken. We were offered a room in the accommodation next door (Savi's place) for a lower price and accepted. The next day we saw other people using the cabana with the broken stairs, so we're not sure what happened there exactly. All in all we had a good time here, but guests should keep in mind that they might not actually get the room they booked on Booking.com.

Wonderful place right in front of the surf. Best part of the beach to stay and the staff are great. The rooms are perfect. Please make friends with the light brown skinny beach dog who lives there, she gets really sad without fuss :(

The location is the best one in Weligama I would say. Right in front of the main surf point. Away from traffic noise but still in the centre. The owner is really nice and the staff as well. Cool facilities!

The food there is not the best, they have some approvements here. But theres a lot of good places to go in the area. So the location makes up for it.

Small things missing in the room, coffee or tea maker, wardrobe

Imagine that a bunch of surfers start a hotel by the beach - this is the green rooms. We booked a cabana close to the beach. The best thing about this place is the location and the possibilities that comes along with that. A lot of other surf-hostels/hotels are located at the wrong side of the busy road that goes trough Weligama! There weren’t that many ppl booking surf lessons so we’ve managed to get a private surf instructor every day. The cost for 1 hour was 2500 LKR, about 12-13 euros. Renting a board was about 300LKR/hour if you wanna surf by yourself. Along the beach they had really nice home made relax areas in the shade. They also had a kitchen and served a really nice breakfast, you can eat all meals there but there’s a lot of nice restaurants in town from walking distance. The place is located a bit off - but it’s only a good thing since you’ve got most of the beach for yourself and around 5-10 min walk to the good restaurants.

As they say on there website - this ain’t a high maintenance place. It’s very laid back - so if you don’t like that - don’t book here. But if you’re into surfing and want a good place with chill staff - book here. In other words, you pay for the location. The mosquitoes are awful, super tiny and live in the cabanas! Bring a load of bug repellent and cortisone cream!

Located a few hundred meters from the more crowded parts of the beach it is still central but not crowded. Great place to surf or just to relax.

The staff were super lovely, the rooms were clean and spacious with very comfortable beds and the food was delicious. An amazing location - couldn't be better!
