A normal hotel for a normal tourist

Behind the counter there is a sign that reads: "Laundry service is available for a fee - 50.000 UZS. Please note: underwear is not Accepted for washing. Laundry hours: From 08:00 to 14:00" I have stayed in hundreds of hotels in my short and uneventful life, and I have never read anything as outlandish and absurd as this. Underwear is perhaps the most essential of items that need regular washing so to refuse to accept such garments is an act of madness, devoid of reason. I can only summarise that this hotel has had such a bad experience involving someone's soiled undergarb that they still recovering from PTSD, or the staff are so immature, so embarrassed, so prudish, so puritanical, that even the handling the other gender's undergarments is deemed unacceptable. My only regret from my stay is that I never needed to use their laundry service and shout "I demand you wash my pants!" at the staff, but alas some mysteries are best left unsolved.

An almost family-like setting, a friendly atmosphere, a good price, and a traditional breakfast. Se stayed herec two nights.

- hotel didnt expect us coming despite of reservation - dirty sheet and unwashed stains on the rest of the bedding - internet is poor in the room,better at the reception -we didint expect the stuff entering room to change towels during our absence,we didnt have it in other places we were staying - toilet is outside the room and when it supossed to be for ladies only the stuff is using it for longer visits - showers outside the room,poor condition but there is hot water - no power in the sockets in the bathroom - we had impresion that stuff is no telling the 100% true info about taxi availability
