Great location, view of the sea and good size apartment. Very clean. The 2 double rooms were well sized, with sea views and direct access to the balcony, 2 modern bathrooms. We didn't use the 3rd bedroom. Great pool with sun loungers, and easy access to the promenade and beach. Good security.
The furnishings and decor are a tad tired and need attention. This unfortunately pulled the rating down for us. Also, there is a nightclub/bar at the shopping mall nearby the apartment that plays loud music over the weekend past midnight - you can hear the thumping bass, and the super cars revving engines up and down the road. This was not that pleasant and unfortunate for an otherwise quiet apartment.

The view was wonderful. Umhlanga a very special place as I had a brother who lived there for 50 years and we visited him many times. Can recommend The Host curry restaurant, excellent food and service
The noise factor at night was unacceptable. Cars racing up and down Lagoon Drive, music blaring until 4am and people cheering and shouting kept us awake half the night.
