Very well placed for the seafront and Mineheads main street but very quiet at night. Off street parking. Exceptionally clean throughout, comfortable beds and pleasant lounge, both bedrooms en suite with additional toilet. Barry and Anna were friendly and informative hosts. The milk, jam and instant coffee that was provided for free was all we needed during our stay.
It suited our needs very well but anybody with limited mobility or wheelchair bound by might have issues with the two stairs up into the lounge and then on to the twin bedded room. Also the entrance into the apartment might be a squeeze. The kitchen was not set up for cooking elaborate evening meals but was perfectly adequate for more run of the mill fare. I would imagine most guests would be eating out in the evening and there are plenty of options nearby. As said, not issues for us but something to think about, especially if you were self catering because you wanted to cook and dine in style every night !

Sofas a little low, not a problem for younger, fitter people.
Hosts did offer extra cushions to help.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable flat. Everything we needed was there. Conveniently situated for us as we were spending the weekend on the West Somerset Railway. Would definitely recommend this flat.

An excellent location in the centre of town. A very warm reception on arrival, and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. The apartment had every facility was very clean and comfortable.

Greeted by Barry the owner (next door) who made us welcome.
The self-catering apartment was very clean and roomy and included 2 en-suite bedrooms with an additional separate toilet. It has a large unclutered living room/lounge and a well equipped kitchen with dining area.
Short level walk to reach all Minehead attractions.
Good off road parking at the rear of the apartment was always available.
VERY LITTLE!
Although the use rear courtyard with table and chairs was an asset it was overlooked and so had no privacy.
A second TV in one of the bedrooms would have been welcome.

Excellent place, facilities - everything you need in a high class spec

Very clean with en suite bathrooms. Owner very friendly. Tea, coffee and milk provided on arrival. Well equiped kitchen. Private parking and small terrace to sit outside. Would stay there again.
Double bed was very firm. Allergic to feather pillows so be aware. 3 steps inside property if you have someone infirm with you. Settee hard to get out of.

We booked into the apartment and it was fantastic. It was very roomy, well equipped and the owners were lovely. The apartment has its own entrance and courtyard garden. Less than 5 mins walk to the shops or beach.

We loved the space the facilities everything was there we needed even a huge supply of toilet rolls. Amazing place.
We absolutely loved our stay it was excellent and will definitely be back our host was amazing and very knowledgeable. First class establishment couldn't fault it.

Candlelight was everything I was looking for and more. Apartment was very clean, well equipped with everything you would need and the private parking was a bonus. It is very close to shops, restaurants and the beach.
Barry the owner was very welcoming and friendly.

Clean, great location and easy parking. Lovely to have lounge area that seats 4 adults.

Ideal location, only 5 minutes from the railway/seafront, yet just far enough away from the town centre to be quiet. A good selection of shops, bars & places to eat within 5 - 10 minute walk. Off road parking, good sized living room and kitchen. The owner was very helpful. Would happily go again as very good value for money.

Absolutely spotlessly clean apartment. Marvellous facilities. Perfect location near the beach and the high street. Friendly, accommodating and informative host. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks Barry and Anna for a lovely few days break which was much needed! Sheri, Gemma and CJ.
