Le Grand Bleu is a bright and spacious apartment over two floors with a cute mezzanine, a terrace with the most stunning views and an outside space. All 3 bedrooms were comfortable with hanging space in 1 of them and mirrors on the wall and effective air conditioning. The kitchen has all the required equipment to cook and eat in if you want to, although there are so many fabulous places to eat and drink in Cassis you won’t need to! The nearest supermarket is a U express which is an 11 minute walk away. Great hikes nearby but if you walk along the Calanques, you definitely need shoes and not sandals!

The property is about a 20 min walk into Cassis which is fine on the way down but it’s all uphill on the way back so it may not be appropriate for anyone with mobility issues unless you have a car.. We were lucky that there weren’t any neighbours for most of our stay until the last day because the walls are quite thin, especially in the bedroom which is attached to the neighbours. Despite that, I would still recommend.

The highlight of the apartment is the wonderful terrace accessed from the kitchen/living area. Views of the sea and cliffs are stunning, and we relaxed in the sun there every day . The kitchen is one of the best equipped we have ever stayed in and it was a pleasure to cook in it - not always the case with other rentals! The apartment supplied everything we needed. We travelled from the UK so didn't have anything like towels or sheets with us and didn't want to buy basics like cooking oil, pepper, salt, kitchen roll etc. This was all provided - including coffee pods for the machine. You can walk down into Cassis in about 15-20 minutes and it's a pleasant, safe walk. Uphill all the way back so be prepared for that. There is a car park just before you enter Cassis with one hour free parking so we did use that occasionally. We wanted to extend our stay and host was so helpful in arranging this for us. The man who handed over the keys was also a pleasure to deal with.

Nous avons reçu les instructions très détaillées de la place de parking jusqu'à l'intérieur du logement. Un regard par la fenêtre et l'effet waouh garanti Terrasse vue sur le port la mer. L'appartement est vraiment très bien conçu et il est pourvu de tout ce qui utile et agréable L'électroménager est haut de gamme. Pleins de livres revues et jeux pour occuper les rares journées pluvieuses. Un calme absolu durant toute la semaine dans la résidence et ses abords Un réel sentiment de sécurité et de chez soi. Venez vous ne serez pas déçu. Nous avons posé la voiture pour la semaine et fait tous nos déplacements vers le centre les calanques à pied et pris le bus pour visiter Marseille

Je ne vois rien qui soit de nature à être signalé. C'est vraiment un coup de coeur.
