WHITE BEACH GUEST HOUSE

I loved the diversity of animals that roamed the property and how the owners were always available throughout our stay. Our room had a beautiful view of the mountains, and the property is located just a 5-minute walk from White Beach. They also offer motorbike rentals for 600 pesos a day, which was super convenient for us.

When we checked into the property, we were greeted by the groggy gentleman owner who was woken up by our 3pm arrival. We didn’t feel very welcome by him, and he gave us very little to no information about things around the property. The female owner was inside her room and didn’t come out to welcome or tour us. I’ve stayed at multiple guesthouses around the Philippines and all of them were able to provide basic amenities like hot water, soap, etc.. This guesthouse didn’t have any of those, unfortunately and we had to go to a nearby restaurant, who charged us 40 PESOS for 2 SMALL CUPS OF HOT WATER for our instant coffee (outrageous scam). I was really disappointed by this, and it could've been easily fixed with a cheap investment for guests to use. The wifi also did not work at all in our 2nd-floor bedroom despite having two Wi-Fi connections (a 2.4 GHz and an extension) that you can connect to, so we had to use our precious data the entire stay.

Place is only a few minutes' walk to the beach and to the main highway. Located near convenience stores, shopping, and coffee shops. Good value for a short stay by the beach.

Water pressure is not very strong but good enough for a shower most of the time. Would have been nice to have a drying rack and a small closet.

That nice place for cheap price, clean and humble, I like have light wind at second floor feel me fresh in that summer time. They are have two beautiful Husky and play with them. Make me memorize moment☺️
