The view was lovely. The apartment was clean and comfortable.

It was not made clear before booking that there were no kitchen or lounge facilities and the arrangement for collecting the key disappeared off the website after confirmation of booking. Basically it is 2 hotel bedrooms with a parking space. Access to the property was almost impossible due to road works which had closed the road outside the property. The Hotel Continental which provided the keys did not explain that access was problematic when they gave us the map with directions.

They did book me in late last minute which was good, and Sandra at the continental Hotel where i picked up the key was a complete star super helpful and kind. The apartment was modern and clean, the keys worked, which was great for getting in in the dark alone. Appreciated the parking spot downstairs that came with the flat as the area is notoriously bad for parking.

The 2 dbl apartment is definitely overpriced, and should provide a discount for single occupancy travelers. Even if both rooms were occupied It still works out very expensive without a breakfast or a kitchen to make your own - which was not clearly stated at the time of booking - the only facilities were a kettle with some very bad Nescafe and UTH milk. Hardly the relaxing seaside wake up with a great cup of coffee as you look out to sea, before wandering downstairs for a great full english breakfast. This apartment misses those things which is all part of a good sea side stay. This was just a room and a shower per floor so you will need to go out to eat on top 3 times a day.
