SYRI Guesthouse was super spacious, our rooms were huge with a big bed, desk, chair and glass bathroom/shower. Breakfast was yummy, with a lot of choice and the staff were friendly and helpful. They also had a lovely dog and many cats which is always a bonus. Easy to walk into town or grab a taxi to get to the main attractions.

Great location, friendly staff, quiet, clean, and comfortable room! I had a private room on the first floor. I loved the design. The room was beautiful and you are able to dim the lights which was so great to help wind down after a long travel day. I will definitely return and recommend!

The room was spacious plenty of windows for natural sunlight and a balcony for your leisure. Toiletries were provided as well as room slippers. Bed was comfortable to sleep on. The only take away is that the other shared restroom in the hallway is right next to the room so it can be a bit noisy at night.

The staff didn't speak English very well. There were animals sleeping on the tables. My entire family is allergic to animals.

Abbiamo soggiornato in due camere diverse perché abbiamo deciso di prolungare il nostro soggiorno a Vientiane ma la nostra camera non era disponibile per il giorno successivo. Entrambe le camere erano molto pulite e luminose. Abbiamo apprezzato il letto con materasso un po' più rigido, la possibilità di riempire la nostra borraccia tutte le volte che ne avevamo bisogno. La zona è molto comoda e vicina al centro. Colazione buona!

The room space is big enough. Location is easy to reach and go ground. The house owner is so kind to provide different kinds of travel tips, although Vientiane is not the very proper city for sightseeing.

Just depends on your luck that the guests upstairs are quiet or not

The room was extra large with heaps of futuristic appliances, including a light up mirror, touch screen lights, and automatic bin. There is a big fridge in the room too.. The beds were gianormous, I had the best sleep I've had in a long time. The decor in the room is super fresh and bourgeois. Nice hot electric shower with big shampoo bottles. SYRI Guesthouse supplies free drinking water, tea, coffee, and snacks. The breakfast is mint too ! There are also lots of cute pussy-cats that the owners have adopted and one very relaxed dog. 😌. The staff are warm and friendly. Oh, I forgot there's a pool table !

Love the cats that hang around the hotel. Because the hotel has a mix of dorm and individual rooms and a communal area out in front, it’s great for meeting and chatting with people. Staff were a great help for booking transport. Slightly out of the busy old quarters but still only a short walk down to the food places and riverside market.

Rooms were a bit small and the heater spoilt during the first night but was promptly serviced when we told the staff.

Only stayed 1 night, Room was clean and huge, cats were a lovely addition. Staff were lovely and happy to talk or help with anything. Pool table in the front was nice.

The bathroom as just a corner of the room with glass separator and shower curtain was a little surprise but that would be only thing I could mention

I stayed one night at SYRI Guesthouse together with a female friend. We immediately felt home in the private room, it felt like being in our own bedroom haha. There are lovely cats as well (good to know if you are allergic!), which made the home-experience even better. They have a cute outside area as well and a relax vibe.

In fact, I chose to book here because I read reviews and saw a cat. On the day of check-in, the cat was very cute. The room was clean. The location was able to walk through to Pratu Sai, go to the morning market, and go to the evening market along the Mekong River, considered not far. The atmosphere in the hotel is considered good.

The internet signal is weak and extremely slow during the early evening when many people use it.

Room was big and comfortable, easy to work in, nicely decorated and secure. There was a nice space outside to relax downstairs. Hosts were lovely and helpful.

We wanted to pay in kip but the exchange rate that the hotel offers for this is much higher than the actual exchange rate.

the photos on booking made the place look much better than it was, is very tatty round the edges and there was a blood smear in the wall behind our bed and on the aircon remote.... it's a backpackers place really, and walls are very thin, so very noisy

Friendly staff (!) and close to the center. You can feel this was ones a great hotel, but covid slowed it down the last two years. Still great value for money. Clean rooms, warm water. 👍

The chill area's have a lot of potential. With a bit more light and some fresh paint it cheers up.

Schimmel, man hat es auch schon gerochen als wir das Zimmer betraten. Auf Nachfrage nach einem neuen Zimmer haben wir nur ein "ausgebucht" bekommen und es wurde in keinerlei Hinsicht entgegen gekommen. Leider hatten wir schon bezahlt. Zimmer A3

Très bien situé et proche du centre mais dans une rue très calme.

Les photos donnent l'impression d'un endroit luxueux mais ça n'est pas le cas. Il manque peu de choses cependant. Un peu plus de rigueur dans l'entretien serait bienvenue.

We’ve been travelling through south east Asia for 3 months and this place had one of the loveliest rooms we’ve stayed in so far! A beautiful seating area with a lovely big bed. The breakfast was also really nice and reasonably priced! A final bonus was the pool table downstairs and all the cats that live at the house

The bed was slightly hard, but it wasn’t so bad that we wouldn’t stay here again!
