Los anfitriones muy atentos, los servicios del hostal muy buenos se siente uno como en casa, la habitación cómoda con espacio suficiente.

Alles: Die besonders großzügigen Gemeinschaftsräume, das bunt gemischte Publikum jeden Alters, das Lust hatte sich binnen kürzester Zeit auszutauschen und gemeinsame Unternehmungen (v.a. Wanderungen) zu machen, die unglaublich sympathischen und hilfsbereiten Hostelbesitzer, die vielfältigen Informationen zu Aktivitäten und vor allem Jardín selbst.

Les propriétaires sont des amours, l'emplacement est parfait pour profiter de la ville et dormir au calme. L'hôtel est superbement équipé, bref un lieu génial! Merci Camillo

Wunderbares Personal.Hilfsbereit & freundlich.Gastgeberin eine nette Seele.Lage gleich beim schönen Marktplatz von Jardin.An Weihnachten wurde für alle Gäste gekocht,ist auch nicht selbstverständlich.Kaffee for free.Wäsche waschen super günstig.Danke!Hab mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Friendly staff, great location, very clean andcwarm shower.
My room was next to the common area and kitchen, quite noisy. They did have a quiet time after 9 so it was not a big issue.
The mattreses had a plastic protective sheet between the fittsed sheet, very noisy to sleep on and caused the fitted sheet to slip of the mattress. A minor issue and easy to fix.

Queda a dos cuadras de la iglesia y a pesar del movimiento de gente y carros en el exterior, e incluso dentro del hostal (para ser un fin de semana) me pareció súper silencioso, perfecto para descansar. Las instalaciones de la cocina son muy buenas, las áreas comunes en general muy bonitas y cómodas.
El agua caliente de la ducha! perfecta para un baño después de hacer los Tours.
Y obviamente la atención, desde el principio me sentí bien entendida me parece que la organización de la cocina está perfecta, tiene información sobre Tours o actividades para hacer en el pueblo y alrededores.
Los colchones no eran lo más cómodo pero estaban bien, una de las camas sonaba un poco.

Camilo and Joanna are born hosts, they are welcoming, helpful, and have great energy. They really helped us when a group of us were sick in Jardin. The location is perfect too

The owner & his wife are so warm & friendly. Located about one block from the town square in a safe, secure location. The reception area, kitchen, activity room & our room were all clean & tidy. The bed was extremely comfortable & there was hot water.
I have no negatives. The owners do a superb job of providing excellent value & price.

Good kitchen
Average and overrated. No atmosphere, only 4 lockers between several dorms so it’s first come first serve and the door is always wide open, not secure. Hard to sleep, hard beds & pillows, lots of noise in the morning from the common area directly outside. Sometimes there was no hot water in the shower, on the last day there was no water at all for 12 hours and they didn’t offer a discount. The receptionist is also a little strange. He asks every guest if they want to do join him for the the waterfall hike the next day. If you join, he asks you to pay for his company by buying him lunch.

Camilo, Johanna and Yuli were great. I slept so good here which was the vibe I was looking for doing early hikes. really made me feel at home.
the hostel could do with more lockers, and the the hot water is iffy.

Such a lovely hostel. The owners were amazing, so friendly, always let me practice my Spanish with them, gave great tips for hikes nearby. Location is right next to the main square but still very quiet. Free coffee and tea. Sociable place. Jardín is the most beautiful town you should stay here.
Only 1 bathroom per room (5 people) so sometimes a bit of a wait but this is expected in hostels.

Felt very welcome, the place is clean and the owners are genuinely nice and helpful with everything which made it feel like a home, definitely one of my favourite hostels!

the Candileja is easily one of the best hostels I stayed in so far. Everything is spotless clean but the best are definitely Camilo and his wife. they are incredibly welcoming and always so helpful about what to do in and around Jardin. we enjoyed our stay enough to keep extending it day by day. The location is also perfect, right of the main square. If we were to come back, we would definitely stay at Candileja again. Thank you so much for everything.

The host is really nice and gave me lots of tour information. The location is just two blocks to the center. By the way, this small town is really nice and deserves it's name.

The owners really care about this hostel! They keep it incredibly clean, and make sure everyone’s attended to; very nice people. The guests here were lovely and it’s location and price make it the obvious choice for a stay in Jardin. I came for 2 days and ended up staying for 2 weeks.

Nice hostel, great staff (Hi Martijn!), rooms were quite small so they can get packed, but had a private toilet. I loved the common areas and the kitchen is well-equipped - has free tea!
The bunk beds could use some utilities, was missing an electricity socket

Absolutely loved the town of Jardin. The hostel was in a great location to explore. Big common area and fantastic cooking facilities. Rooms were quiet, spacious and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and other guests very nice.

Love this place. It's a calm but social hostel. The employees do everything to make you feel comfortable and make the place a home away from home. Even their long-term volunteer is the best. The big kitchen, nice warm showers and the social area where it's easy to meet people are a big plus too.

the owners are incredible. so friendly, passionate and caring. I did not meet more present and attentive staff/owners on my 6 weeks. great location, cheeky bakery next door is dangerously good/addictive.

The owners Camilo & leidy, along with Lida, Martin & Lucila could not have been friendlier or more helpful. They are a wonderful team and the location on the hostel could not be better - just one block up from the main square. I stayed 5 nights in Candileja and would happily have stayed forevermore! I was lucky to have a bottom bunk but for those on top it would have been nice if there was a shelf to put essentials for a good nights sleep (water, book etc)

The loudness of the property, especially when guests enter after 10pm, but that is too be expected in a hostel.
