Stayed in Zamora for a night and really enjoyed Hostal Sol. A basic but cosy place in the centre of the town.

Location is fantastic. Just few steps away from the city center and all the facilities

Very modern and tastefully decorated. Everything felt new. It was also very clean. Wifi was also stable. Nothing really to complain about. Bonus is that all the restaurants are nearby. The historical city center doesn't have much, this hotel is in the real center.
The doors are thin, you can hear the hallway very clearly.

Comfortable and spacious room, with an embedded wardrobe and a small desk to work or write postcards, in a perfect location to explore the city and with plenty of services around.

There were works going on and there was a real problem with the electricity. Not that this would be repeated on another occasion

Good location and a super clean room.
Poor soundproof isolation. It was posible to hear when the neighours were arriving/leaving, even was posible to listem when they were taking a shower.

The location is great, very close to some supermarkets and close enough to the central plaza. Well clean, with air conditioning, though it was hot outside when I arrived and never really needed it. Curious decoration in an otherwise spartan room.
The first impression is: what is this smell? It's the stale odour of a bathroom whose air isn't renewed in years - which is so cramped that you can't even sit straight on the toilet because the lavatory is in the way. You stop sensing the smell after some time while you're inside and you notice it again when you return to the room. The walls are paper thin and they didn't help disguise the guests who decided to watch a late night program on TV (until 2am) nor the guests who decided to listen to some religious prayers. No instructions were given to keep quiet and reception is empty at that hour so to complain to someone you'd need to give them a call, which I didn't. Worst of all is the bed: small, unstable and with a hyper thin mattress.

The location was central. It was clean and communication was easy.
The door was difficult to lock and the walls were a bit thin, but not majorly.
