Proximity to groceries and bakery and shops. General location and the hosts were fabulous. Plus very quiet and peaceful. Close to historical sites we were interested in. Also able to secure the vehicle and you can walk around the town with ease.

Nothing to add

The location is quite good a short walk from the train station through the main high street, so easy to get to but still very quiet. The property itself is a very nice traditional German apartment, spacious and very clean. It has the traditional German shutter blinds so you can sleep in the pitch black if you like, it was comfortable and I think the cleanest place I have stayed. The lady who rents the apartment is very nice and made me feel welcome, plus she gave me a lift in the car back to the train when I left. She doesn't speak English but we managed to communicate okay with the help of a translator app. I would not hesitate to recommend the village, apartment or host. I stayed in four places during my trip around Europe this time and this was the best.

Could do with a little modernizing but for me it was fine. Other than that nothing really.
