Beautifully located on a hilltop, this is probably the accommodation with the most stunning sunset I have ever witnessed. The premises really live up to its name: it was a haven of peace and quiet. The apartment was nicely furbished blending in local elements. Breakfast was excellent and very varied using much local produce. We enjoyed our vacation in this family owned apartment complex with superb vistas of the coastline and a beautiful garden that is meticulously cared after.

It’s a shame that the rooms were not payed the attention of the gardens; repeated hot and cold water malfunctions, AC initially faulty, broken screen in shower, very poor lighting. the whole place is clearly tired and in need of a refurb. The swimming pool floor was slimy and after it was used the whole pool clouded up. No restaurant despite advertised on Booking.com - fundamental in light of the hotel’s isolation.

Nothing I didn’t like.

This was a very special vacation for us, and we chose to stay here over Christmas. We're American, and are not always the most frequent guests in this corner of the world; most of the guests were francophone. Christophe- who speaks English fluently- and Ingrid made us feel exceptionally welcome. We stayed in the round Serenity yurt, and were very comfortable. It had a wonderful aesthetic quality- and a relaxing ambiance. Christophe had a moped readily available for us and was able to provide us with all of the information we needed to make the most of our time on the island. They usually offer dinner three nights per week, but they added a day for Christmas dinner. The food every night was spectacular, and we are not actually so easy to please with food; it was by far the best we had on the island. Ingrid really outdid herself on the Christmas meal which consisted of a fantastic langoustine feast- which would have been enough in and of itself- which was followed with amazing duck that was flavored to perfection- she couldn't have nailed the seasoning any better. Lemon Meringue pie capped the meal. I think with the extra meal in the week and the added work with Christmas it must have been tiring for them to maintain the level of attention of providing so thoroughly to everyone's needs, but they truly made it happen for everyone. We found them to be very genuine and sincere, and we highly recommend staying here if you are coming to Rodrigues.

We didn't have any complaints. The weather was not optimal for a little bit of our stay, but as we know that has nothing to do with the accommodation.
