The terrace was incredible and certainly the best part about the property as it was such a fabulous feature. We think we had the best views of the whole of Valletta and was a highlight of the holiday. The rest of the property was also beautifully decorated and maintained. The host was also very helpful and thankfully had prepared the property in good time, meaning we were able to check in a little earlier.

Hot water availability is limited and dependant on usage within the whole building, so it meant we didn't have a single warm shower all 3 days we were there. Although there were drawers in the bedroom, all of them were in use with spare bedding, which meant there was no drawer storage space for us to unpack our clothing into. The bedding was so tightly packed we avoided removing it all in case we couldn't get it back in the drawers.

Roof terrace excellent and well equipped. Nice shower. Very central and great views.

Smaller than we thought. Fire exit leads into bedroom. The bed was small and bed post was shabby.

The view of Valletta was excellent and reflected the pictures we’d seen when booking. The rooftop was an excellent space to take in the magnificent 200 degrees of water views. Location was close enough to Valletta that it was an easy 5 to 10 minute walk, the advantage being that Hastings Suites is outside the hustle and bustle of the old town and therefore quiet. The suite was very clean. We also liked the proximity of the ferry terminal which made it easy to go to Sliema to pick up the boat trips we wanted to do. Plenty of scenic bars for an aperitif and Giannini Restaurant (a must!) just around the corner. We had a problem with a PowerPoint that wax fixed within two hours of letting our host know. We appreciated this fast response. Thank you!

The hot water system in the bathroom was such that we were lucky to achieve lukewarm warm water. The daybed, table and chairs on the rooftop required cleaning. Instructions for access for #4 should make it clear that it is from Sappers rather than Windmill St. For two jet lagged travellers we were a bit slow to work this out!

Bathroom facilities, the toilet didn’t flush properly
