The property worked out great for our family. We had six adults and five children. There was plenty of space for all of us. We all enjoyed the fireplace in the living room, which kept us cozy on the cold nights.

Enjoyed the property. We had a great time. The road to the house is steep and some tight turns. No problem for cars and suv. My 12 passenger van was more difficult.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean, everything worked well, sleeping arrangements were easy, kitchen pots and pans were non-stick (stainless steel are a pet peeve), coffee pot and other kitchen appliances worked well, and overall it was just a very comfortable stay with a beautiful view.
The only negative was the drive up the mountain was very steep. We had a 12 passenger van, and it managed okay, but I had to keep it in 1st gear to keep it moving up and 1st on the way down to keep speed down.
Overall I would highly recommend this cabin!

Cabin was beautiful! Tastefully decorated. Loved the screened in porch. Everyone enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. Beautiful view. Would go back!

The pictures do not lie! This property is probably one of the nicest, smartest, best laid out properties we've ever visited. Everyone had their own space when they wanted, and there was large common areas where everyone could be together and relax. The entire area lost internet the last half of the week, but that meant more time for board games and using the game room.

This cabin experience was perfect. We had 15 people in our group and there was plenty of room, plenty of sleeping spaces, and plenty of bathrooms. The huge living room was open so the whole family could be engaged. The cabin sits high up in the mountain, beautiful view, and had plenty of parking space for our 4 vehicles. The entrance to the driveway from the road was a little tricky depending on what vehicle was being driven, but nothing that wasn't manageable. The gas grill had an issue (broken gas manifold) when we first went to use it and when we called the property management office, the owner had a brand new grill there in a few hours. Met the owners who were super nice and offered hiking advice. We will definitely be returning when we have a large group again. Oh, and the weather for late July was absolutely beautiful. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation.

The house was perfect for a large gathering of family and friends. There was a lot to do in and around the house as well as being centrally located to a bunch of outdoor activities.

Great views with multiple gathering places so you can get together or spread out. Excellent views from the deck, with a nice screen porch for listening to the rain or playing games in the evening. Plus fire pits for smores and conversation. We didn't try the outdoor theater only because the rest of the property was more than enough for us.

The cabin was the perfect size for 15. Loved the hot tub, the screened in porch, and the deck. It was nice to have plenty of seating for everyone.

We really loved the view from the house and the way the house was set up. Driving up, and especially into the driveway was a challenge, but once there, it was worth the extra effort. The house was stocked with some basic kitchen items that made it easier to get meals. Loved having toilet access from every bedroom. The only thing we would suggest to change would be the mattresses in the upstairs bedrooms (the queen sized ones). Otherwise, we loved it, and my daughter said if she ever wins the lottery, she is renting the house for an entire summer for all of us!

We had 15 people total and the place is big enough that you don't even have to see anyone else if you prefer. Close to everything, and breathtaking views galore. Highly recommend.

Great spot for a trip. Close enough to Cherokee Casino, close to golf course, only complaint is its a tough drive up to the cabin. Especially at night when foggy

For a getaway for 2 days skiing this was the perfect house to accommodate four families with kids. The home is very well sized and nicely decorated. So much space that the kids were hardly noticeable as they played downstairs. Conveniently located close to stores, restaurants, and Cherokee Casino. Would absolutely return.

We, MiMi and Pawpaw, took our 3 children and spouses and 9 grandchildren for our Christmas vacation!! The house was amazing! Beautifully decorated and clean! The views are wonderful! We took our whole family to Dollywood on Saturday, Gem mining and hiking to Soco Falls on Sunday. Monday we spent the day at the Train Museum and rode the Polar Express in Bryson City! We all loved it so much!! Memories to last forever!! Look forward to our next trip to this gorgeous area and house!!

One of the few cabins we have rented that was more beautiful in person than in pictures. Loved hanging out on the porches enjoying the amazing fall views. Add in the game room and the hot tub and it was a wonderful week! The only disappointment was while we took the vast majority of the trash with us, we missed a couple of the cans in the bathrooms. This resulted in a $50 charge to allow for maintenance to pick them up. This is clearly covered in the rental agreement so I can’t really complain, but we had saved maintenance a trip to the cabin earlier in the week when we discovered a remote to one of the TVs was missing and we agreed to come to town to pick up the replacement remote control so that maintenance would not have to make the trip. Seems like that could have been a wash, but as mentioned earlier, I understand the extra charge. Anyway, beautiful cabin we highly recommend!

This home was perfect for our multi-generational family getaway. We particularly enjoyed the very comfortable screened porch which had a sectional sofa and large table and chairs, back deck with Adirondack chairs and additional dining table and chairs ~ and spectacular view and finally the kitchen/dining/living room were spacious and comfortable as well. We had a wonderful time and hope to do it again!

Christmas get away
Wonderful home! We had a variety of ages. Everyone had a great time. Everything was clean and check in/out was super easy. Loved having the hiking trails right out of the front door. We had an issue with the fireplace and I called and they sent someone right over. We would visit again for sure!

Overall everything was great. Would suggest better photos and description of the bunk rooms. We enjoyed the game room and the view from the hot tub was fabulous. However would suggest the rental company make sure the hot tub is being maintained and cleaned between guest.

Only thing for a high end rental house s that I would suggest not being so stingy on paper products like TP, paper towels, etc. Also - it would be nice to at least have plastic wrap & foil paper available - these are relatively inexpensive & are almost always needed, as well as more than 2 dishwasher pods! There was only two of us & we used both plus some we had to buy because we ate mainly at the cabin. We have rented multiple VRBO properties & have never had such essential supplies in such short or non- existence supply. The amount charged for the property dictates these items should be available.

Serenity Mountain Retreat was incredibly beautiful. The views are breathtaking, and the cabin had every amenity that we were looking for in a luxury cabin. Hot tub, fireplace, fire pit, game room, screened in patio on the side with sectional couch, outdoor dining table, grill, etc.!!! Many Adirondack chairs are placed on the main deck to take in the views, especially at night. On the morning that we checked out, there was a bear climbing up to the top of a tree across the way. So cool to watch. We had 5 couples in our group, and we were not cramped at all. Several gathering spaces on multiple level. Just to give you a better understanding of the layout, there is a King Master suite on the main floor with private bath. The second floor consists of (2) Q bedrooms, each with private 1/2 baths (no shower). The full bath on this floor is in the hall and shared by these 2 bedrooms. On the bottom floor is 2 identical bunk rooms, both with private full baths. Bunks look like Full over Queens. There is also a Q futon in each bunk room, that can lie flat for another bed. Pool table, ping pong table and foosball table are also on this floor. Hot tub and fire pit are on this level, too.There are well marked instructions all over the house to operate lights, fans, fireplace, WiFi, etc. I highly recommend 4-wheel drive, or AWD, to navigate the main driveway.Maggie Valley Vacations managed our stay, and they were extremely helpful and professional, and a pleasure to work with. Check-in was a breeze and directions to cabin were easy to follow. I really can’t say enough about how beautiful Serenity Mountain Retreat was, as we will definitely stay here again.
