8 Mayflower Court è un luminoso e arioso appartamento al secondo piano situato sull'argine nord di Dartmouth. Con 2 camere da letto, splendida vista sul fiume e parcheggio in loco disponibile; 8 Mayflower Court è il luogo perfetto per un ritiro di coppia o una piccola vacanza in famiglia. Questo appartamento in riva al fiume è stato rifinito secondo standard elevati ed è a pochi minuti a piedi dalla selezione di negozi, caffè e pub di Dartmouth.
Dal parcheggio privato sul retro della proprietà ci sono 24 gradini esterni alla porta sul retro (la proprietà può anche essere accessibile dalla parte anteriore tramite una scala interna ben illuminata.) La porta sul retro si apre direttamente nella cucina ben attrezzata con forno, piano cottura a induzione, frigorifero e freezer, lavastoviglie, microonde combinato, lavasciuga. Radio DAB con Bluetooth.
Attraverso la sala da pranzo open space con splendida vista panoramica sulla Dart e sul terrapieno (ottimo per guardare i treni a vapore e i traghetti che entrano ed escono da Kingswear). L'area salotto è arredata con divano in pelle e poltrone con struttura in legno, nonché Smart TV da 40 pollici, Humax-BT YouView PVR, Blu-ray / DVD e Internet Radio.
La camera da letto principale nella parte anteriore della proprietà ha un letto king size (5 '), armadio a muro, specchio a figura intera e toletta e una vista sul fiume. La seconda camera da letto sul retro della proprietà ha due letti singoli (3 "), armadio a muro e specchio a figura intera. Il bagno di famiglia è piastrellato con vasca, box doccia separato, WC, lavandino e scalda asciugamani.
C'è un parcheggio per un'auto nell'area di parcheggio comune gratuita sul retro della proprietà con un permesso fornito. Gli spazi non sono assegnati e non sono i più adatti per veicoli più grandi. Tuttavia, se si sta portando un veicolo più grande, è previsto anche un permesso per il parcheggio Mayors Avenue che dista meno di 100 metri dalla proprietà.

This has been our first visit to Dartmouth, inspired in part by Claire Balding's TV series. We were lucky to have good weather while we were there - windy most days, but dry and bright, allowing us to do most of what we had planned. The Food Festival was an unexpected bonus, even if it made parking in the town a bit problematic, considering the apartment parking was closed due to gas works. But we managed OK in the end.
The apartment is comfortable and very well equipped - we don't eat out much at all, so to have M&S just round the corner, and more than adequate cooking facilities was just right for us.
The view from the apartment, though, is really what makes this a wonderful place to stay - there is always something going on to watch, and at nights the lights of Kingswear make a beautiful backdrop.
We visited Greenway using the Christie Belle ferry - the house is well worth a visit if you are into Agatha Christie - and we also took the cruise up river to Totnes. A walk to Dartmouth Castle, watching the steam trains in Kingswear, and a ferry+bus trip to Brixham (with huge fish and chip lunch at Brixham Fish!!) made up the rest of our excursions.
A most enjoyable week. We would highly recommend the apartment, though we never did work out how to get the bathroom underfloor heating working - the instructions need a bit of clarification, I think.
If you are taking an all-electric car, as we did, be aware that there are limited charging points around the town, and are often occupied. We found the one in the Mayors Avenue car park was available more late evenings, but was only running at half power, so we were plugged in for about 6 hours!

I didn't realise how much we would enjoy watching the river view while staying at the flat. Not only that but the flat was well appointed and conveniently situated with clear instructions on how to use the appliances. As we preferred to use the front door to enter and exit the flat a second set of keys would have been handy.

We’ve just returned from a week at this lovely flat. It’s in a great location, close to pubs and restaurants, right on the river and round the corner from M&S food.
The only negative thing to note (if you’re a very light sleeper like me) is that the noise insulation from neighbouring flats isn’t good & we could hear the man in the upstairs flat snoring & getting up in the night!

This is a modern and comfortable apartment with amazing views of the river. Perfectly situated for a 5 minute walk into town. Parking space a real bonus. Would highly recommend for couples and family with older children.
