The location is fantastic: the native forest in winter is at its very best. But the real highlight is the house itself: it is incredibly comfortable, filled with character, and possesses a very special atmosphere. For me, happiness is defined by spending cold winter evenings in such a house, in front of the fireplace, listening to music or reading a good book.
Not much, really. An inconvenience is lack of dinner option and Petrol station at Forrest. One has to go to Colac, and driving back for 30 min at night spoils the magic.

Beautiful cottage with a lovely woodfire & heaters. Really cosy, great & well equipped kitchen. Super easy walk to town, brewery and bike trails

Beautuful place to stay. A home, not just a house. It was lovely to be on the edge of the forrest in peaceful surrounds. Enjoyed a cafe breakfast at the local brewery. Wished we had stayed longer than one night.

Incredible location nestled in the bush, very quiet and secluded and relaxing. Great house, very considered and homey.
