The location was good, the person who checked us in was very pleasant, and the room was very quiet and comfortable. We would indeed stay here again, should the opportunity arise.

Our room was a little beat up, extra door lock was broken, hole in an interior door, but the room was spotless. It was roomy and quiet, but nothing special. Ample towels were provided as well as a single cup coffee maker.
Outside upkeep could have been better: sweeping outside of room entrances and tidying up. Breakfast was underwhelming, but we appreciated the ample supply of fresh coffee and took a couple of packaged food choices for the road until we could stop along the way for a proper breakfast.

The guy who checked us in was extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home. The room was comfortable and clean and there was a laundromat within easy walking distance. We stayed here for one night before a hiking trip in the Wallowas and it was a great location to get everything ready and get a good night's sleep.
I would have loved a few more vegan options at the continental breakfast but I understand why that is hard for many businesses to do. The price was a bit steep but again, I understand why, because the season here must be very short.

No breakfast to speak of.
There has been no obvious maintenance since the property was sold.
