Pros: Carport parking, easy entry, wheelchair or handicapped accessible from front door ramp onto deck. Room to spread out inside and out. Wrap around deck has comfortable seating and multiple seating options. Comfortable beds, enough pillows and extra bedding. Laundry room was convenient and well stocked. Kitchen was well stocked and had cooking utensils which were greatly appreciated. The basement was a great play space for visiting children.
The proximity to the famous cliffs at Fairfield Bay was fantastic. We loved our walks to the lake and the kids loved jumping off the cliffs. Overall we loved our time spent at the house and would rent again.
Cons: This is an older home that needs bathroom plumbing attention. The master tub/shower has a handle that is very difficult to operate which has been mentioned in other reviews. Additionally, the master shower/tub was not draining.
Mold/mildew smell has also been mentioned in other reviews. My family wasn’t bothered by it. I am very sensitive to mold and mildew and I was the only one who really noticed.

You can tell because of the clear directions, various coffee pods, child plates/plastic ware, toys, towels, toiletries, ice, televisions, outdoor spaces, you name it. It was a super hot weekend out on the lake, and we loved coming back “home” to such a refreshing and lovely place. We had never been to that area, so some pamphlets and information would have helped us regarding boat docks, lack of marina restaurants that are accessible by boat, the need for shirts to cover swimsuits in some establishments, etc. There was lots of info about the area but not the lake where we were boating per se.

We had a great time in Fairfield Bay during spring break. Our two young boys thoroughly enjoyed the foosball table and downstairs game room. Had a small issue on the first night, but the owner quickly responded and took care of it. Happy to recommend this place if you're staying in the area!

The property is more isolated than we thought but that comes with less noise nd traffic. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious enough for three couples. The shower handle in the shared bathroom was stuck and required both effort and the help of a plumber (for concern of breaking) to get it working. That cost us a couple hours of vacation time having to wait for service.
The basement is spacious but has a mildew smell (like many in the area); we avoided spending time there. The kitchen was roomy and had all the utensils we needed; unfortunately, after we searched to find the coffee pot, we discovered a used...very moldy filter with old grounds. We did not use the coffee maker. Overall, the house is pleasant and provided sufficient room to gather or to relax on the deck.

A cozy home for the family
Great location! Loved the two golf courses we played on and the ladies had a great shopping experience in Conway. Really appreciated the out grill and deck!

We had a GREAT time!
We had so much fun on this property! The kids loved all the toys downstairs and everything was very clean and comfortable. The only complaint that we had was that nobody in the house got a hot shower. Hot water lasted for the first 3 minutes for each shower and then it was ice cold (which is weird because there was no issue at the kitchen sink). It wasn't a huge deal because we were only there for a weekend. Other than that, we enjoyed the view and the space and the adorable decor. Fun trip!

Great place for family fun and RandR
We enjoyed this little piece of heaven. Even though the weather was cool and windy the sights and sounds of nature were all around. Could not ask for a better place than Fairfield Bay and a better place to enjoy it than this beautiful lake escape.

My husband and I and kids absolutely loved this cozy house. Great hiking areas all around and the view of the lake is incredible! We will definitely be booking here again soon !

Fantastic!
We had a great stay! There was enough room for the 6 of us to spread out and the game room downstairs was a great place to send the kids while the adults relaxed upstairs. We did not realize there was not a dishwasher, but that's our own fault and all of the dishwashing necessities were provided. There also is not a table and chairs for indoor dining. We could tell this by the pictures so we brought a small card table and folding chairs, moved the coffee table over and it worked out great! Jill was very responsive to messages. Thanks for a great stay!

Awesome house and location!
We had a great vacation at this house! Close to the lake and tons of ATV trails to explore. Our only issue was that the ice makers weren’t working, but the owners stocked both ice makers and put an extra bag of ice in the freezer for us! We would definitely stay here again!

Great place to relax!
Great location near the lake, pool, restaurants, mini golf, bowling, and the marina. House was clean and comfortable, and fully stocked. Deck and fire pit were amazing. Would stay here again.

Grandmothers 92nd birthday!
We had a wonderful time and the property was very clean and perfect for our family gathering. My grandmother lives in the area and was celebrating her 92nd birthday. The Caraway family made it special by leaving a personalized message for our family and birthday items to help celebrate. It was such a nice surprise and really made it a special weekend for all. Thanks for allowing us to stay and enjoy the location and beauty.
