Great time at Sunday River. The house is/was great. Everything needed for an epic ski vacation. From the hot tub to kitchen to fireplace, game room, equipment room, and bedrooms it was all very well done. If one of your goals is to be first up a chairlift you’ll make it from this starting point. Ownership was quick to respond about questions. Thanks to all for a great experience.

Celebrated a 70th birthday and Thanksgiving with 3 generations. Owner was very accommodating and responsive. Beautiful home!

Attended a wedding in Bethel and had 15 family members from ages 5-82! We were able to hike and play outside and when it rained for two days, we all had time and space to occupy ourselves in the home!

These owners do a great job at cleaning and thinking of everything you could need during your stay. The pots and pans could be replaced (deep gouges) BUT they have everything you could need in the kitchen. Large house that fit over 20 comfortably. The ONLY ISSUE we had was mold in the basement. There was visible black mold and 3 out of the 9 people down there left coughing and congested.

Staying here was amazing! From the moment we arrived we were blown away with how beautiful the property was. Everything was very clean when we got there and there is definitely plenty of space for big groups of people! The beds were extremely comfortable which barely any of us have ever experienced with a rental before, so that was a plus! The game room was definitely utilized and the second fridge in the basement was great for all our extra food and drinks we had!! If you have a big group you should definitely consider staying here, the hosts were very prompt at responding to our questions and it couldn’t have been a better experience. The hot tub was also a plus that was used all weekend!!

We recently stayed at this house in Sunday River for a short golf trip. There were eight of us in the house and it was more than accomodating for our group. The kitchen was amazing and a great gathering spot. The game room in the basement was also a favorite, so much fun and many options to keep everyone entertained. There were plenty of utensils, pots/pans, linens, etc. I would highly recommend this rental if you are staying in the area!

All five of our kids and some of their spouses and grandkids all stayed. We had the time of our lives! The Mountain House was wonderful and was close to many activities. We were busy from morning to night and had many last nights catching up. When it rained we stayed in and hung out. Plenty of room for everyone of all ages. Loved it!

Everything was great. Host was easy to work with. Basement game room was awesome. Basement had a musty odor and no operating lights in one bedroom. But overall great house for a large amount of guests.

We loved the set up of the kitchen and the game room and kids cove! Hot tub was in great shape, on a quiet road. A bit musty downstairs and a few small issues, but we’ll worth it!

Spacious and beautiful! Excellent dynamics for a large group of people! The kitchen is very open and fun for cooking and socializing! Two dishwashers, large counter space, high ceilings to create an open area.

Eighteen people for dinner Saturday night, move than enough seats for everyone. Kitchen had a wide selection of serving dishes and cooking utensils 🍴
The kids young and old enjoyed the video games.
Plenty of firewood was provided, and fireplace worked great!
My grand daughters found the Kid’s and moved right in.

Beautiful house, short walk to slopes. Our group was six adults and seven teens. There was plenty of room for everyone. Beds comfortable and house was very clean. We enjoyed the huge comfy couch by the fireplace and the hot tub was a big hit! Communication with host was quick and easy, there were no issues at all with any part of the stay! I would give it more than 5 stars if I could, it’s an incredible place!

Three full large families had plenty of room. Some groups hung out in living room in front of beautiful fireplace with plenty of comfortable seating. Kitchen was huge with chairs all around the island to watch playoff football. Kids obviously loved the hot tub as did the parents because it gave us a break too. Very well kept and clean. And don't forget how close the skiing is. Short walk or short drive. Very convenient. All around great experience!

This was the second year in a row our (large) family has made the trip up to stay at this property near Sunday River. We have every intent to continue this moving forward as well. The property has all the amenities and access for a group with or without children to enjoy Western Maine.

This house is great! We had a group of 12 for our annual guys trip. This house was more than adequate.
The kitchen was equipped with everything you would need for large groups. Including 2 sinks and 2 dishwashers. The kitchen always seems to be the main gathering spot, and this kitchen has plenty of room for all.
The entire house is beautiful, and clean.
Oh, and the game room! Many late nights were spent in the basement playing Golden Tee!
Our stay was great.

We had such a great time. Your house is gorgeous and we had 12 of us there and not once did we ever feel like we were on top of each other. We all can’t stop talkin about how much we miss being there and how 100 perfect it was. Thank you for letting us experience your beautiful house and we are already talking about doing it all again.

Fun layout, great spot with kitchen that makes it easy to serve a large (12) group of hungry guys. Salad, steaks and potatoes one night, pasta with sausages/sauce the other worked out great. Kitchen set up could be improved with where things are located but thats the only complaint. Beds really comfortable, all linens and things were perfect.

We had a great stay! Had 4 generations together this past week. We celebrated a birthday and had a surprise wedding dinner for my niece and her new husband! This house was perfect for our group and there was lots of space to spread out or be together! Lots of beautiful mountain hikes, water holes and beautiful scenery in the area.

Fantastic house
Absolutely great place to stay. We had 8 adults, 6 kids 2 to 15 yrs, and dogs. Everything was perfect. Great gourmet kitchen with everything you could ask for and some more. The beds in all the rooms were the very comfortable. Lots of room. Can’t say enough and we will be back. Amanda was very gracious and accommodating and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this house,, even with no snow.

Every single one of us had such a comfortable time staying here. Amanda was extremely communicative leading up to stay as well. The property has everything you need to entertain, and is wildly spacious throughout the house, and most importantly the sleeping quarters.
Rest assured you will be comfortable with this easy to find oasis in the woods!
