Tranquil Pippin Scottish Cottages with Hot Tub
Elaine & Johns Cottages sono un lusso a cinque stelle con interni moderni e comfort. Concediti tante cose da fare e da vedere mentre sei in una vera casa lontano da casa. Il villaggio di Plains, Airdrie sulla A89. Situato nel cuore della Scozia centrale a metà strada tra Glasgow ed Edimburgo, la nostra posizione centrale è una base ideale per entrambe le città. Rilassati nel nostro tradizionale cottage scozzese che risale al 1900, un ex cottage dei minatori che è stato ora rinnovato mantenendo le caratteristiche del periodo.

Gli ospiti avranno accesso completo e senza restrizioni a tutto il cottage durante il loro soggiorno. C'è anche un ampio giardino posteriore recintato che gli ospiti possono usare. Il cottage è luminoso e arioso e il salone ha un fuoco a carbone con sedie reclinabili. Questa non è una festa a casa.

Il cottage che è a livello di un passo ha un facile accesso. Parcheggio privato per auto al cottage.

Il cottage è situato in un'ottima posizione. Solo un paio di minuti dal supermercato locale insieme ad altri negozi, bar e ristoranti. Il cottage è a pochi minuti da tutti i principali collegamenti autostradali. Euro Central e il parco commerciale Strathclyde sono solo a breve distanza. Ci sono molti parchi e attrazioni locali nelle vicinanze per gli ospiti. C'è una pista ciclabile da Airdrie a Bathgate. Il campo da golf di Eastermoffat è a portata di mano.
La casa si trova a poco più di 1,6 km dalla stazione ferroviaria di Drumgelloch, che offre collegamenti diretti con Edimburgo e Glasgow. La stazione è a breve distanza, £ 4 in taxi o 20 minuti a piedi. I treni partono ogni 20 minuti e impiegano 40 minuti per Edimburgo e 30 minuti per Glasgow. I treni per Edimburgo sono £ 18 andata e ritorno o £ 13 andata e ritorno. I treni per Glasgow sono £ 7 andata e ritorno o £ 5 andata e ritorno. The cottage was very clean & beautifully set out. The host was available to guide us to the property, we missed the property as it was set back off the road, Elaine was fab as she came to guide us in. It was a lovely touch as she showed us around the cottage.The garden was found to be very acceptable to the two Scooties who assed the boundary fence with the intention of finding escape holes. They were dismayed to find the garden perfectly secure & safe. The garden is wonderful for dogs. The hot tub was very welcome & much enjoyed after a long day sight seeing. The area the cottage is in was very quiet & peaceful, the bed was wonderful & comfy, as was the cottage, I found everything very homely & welcoming. A wonderful place to enjoy & unwind. The cottage is set in easy reach of Glasgow & Edinburgh. I wished we were staying longer as there was so many places to visit & things to see. I would definately return to Elaine's cottage & definately recommend it to other people.

Had a wonderful stay at Elaine's super clean cottage. Elaine is lovely, such a kind host. The place was ideal for myself and my daughter, great location, quiet and peaceful, with parking right outside.
The king bed in the master bedroom was perfect and the single bed in the other bedroom was also comfortable. The bathroom had a shower over the bath, which had great water pressure and plentiful hot water.
Everything we needed to make a meal was included in the kitchen, plenty of cupboard space, microwave, hob, oven, fridge freezer, cafetiere as well as a washer, so you can pack light. Elaine left biscuits, tea, coffee and porridge for us, which was a lovely touch.
The hot tub was a real treat, nice to relax in, despite the unseasonably cold and wet August weather, (tip-bring flip flops and a dressing gown).
We were in town for a skating event at the local rink, so we didn't have the chance to sight-see, but the cottage is ideally placed for trips to both Glasgow and Edinburgh. We can however, recommend "The Mint" in Coatbridge, great restaurant, highly recommend a meal here.
The cottage is such a lovely place, we hope to return next year. Thank you Elaine

We had such a wonderful short break. The cottage was spotless, very spacious (both inside and out), and had everything we needed. Some lovely, thoughtful touches. Very comfy beds. Plenty of seating space in the living room. Our little dog loved the huge garden (which is completely secure) to do zoomies in, and we loved the hot tub!
Elaine and her family were fantastic, so lovely and helpful, and answered our queries really quickly.
I would highly recommend this lovely home! Thank you Elaine and family Xx
