My family (myself, husband and teenage daughter) booked this apartment because we were looking for some Winter sun and relaxation within Europe. The flight time is approximately 3 hours so Sicily is very convenient. Salvatore was very helpful with our booking and very kindly picked us up from Catania airport, showing us some areas and sights of interest on route. The contemporary apartment is very well equipped to a high standard, with lots of storage space and is a home from home. The apartment has one bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area. Both rooms are separated by the bathroom, so we individually felt that we had the necessary privacy and quiet in the evening. The rooms lead out onto a terrace which is large and perfect for outdoor eating, sunbathing and relaxing. The apartment is within easy walking distance of shops and the beach. The local people were very friendly and kind and many spoke a small amount of English. The quality of the fresh produce was excellent and we enjoyed self-catering so much, we rarely ate out. The local trains and buses are efficient and inexpensive. We regularly spent time in the nearby stunning picture perfect town of Taormina, which is less than 10 minutes bus ride away. We also visited several other towns and cities, such as Catania which is a grand Baroque city full of vitality and energy. The family spent 3 weeks in Sicily at the end of January/beginning of February the weather was excellent, other than for a couple of rainy days. Conversely the weather in the UK was windy, snowy and cold. We returned to the UK with heavy hearts but energised and with a healthy glow. We had such an enjoyable time in Sicily, which is in no small part to the big-hearted Sicilians, we will definitely return.

We spent 4 days in Salvatores beautiful apartment. It was clean and comfortable with good a shower. Wifi was also good and reliable. It is located in a quite neighbourhood area and a short walk from the centre. We loved the big balcony and spent some great quality time there. Not only was the apartment great, but so was Salvatore he helped us out in so many ways with his kindness and hospitality. We will recommend his apartment to all our friends.

I was delighted that it had a kettle which you don't often find in holiday lets. Salvatore is an excellent host - he keeps in touch and is nearby if you need him but doesn't impinge on your privacy. He collected us from the train station and gave us a guided tour of the local area before dropping us off at the apartment. The beach, restaurants and bars are just a short walk away and it's easy to get the bus to Taormina or the train to Messina and Catania. You certainly don't need a car. We had a wonderful holiday here and I would certainly recommend it.

We, a retired couple from Finland, really enjoyed staying here for one and a half months.The apartment was clean and in excellent condition. Everything worked perfectly, the well equipped kitchen area, washing machine, heating when needed and the internet connection. We liked the peaceful location. It was only a few minutes walk to the beach, supermarkets, bus stops and even to the railway station.Easy to get around by buses and trains. Almost every morning we had the breakfast on the sunny terasse listening to the concert of the birds. The only minus point was that the sun didn`t shine to the terasse after 12 o`clock.But it took only five minutes to walk to the sunny beach street. We are so grateful to Salvatore, the owner, who drove us from Catania when arriving and again back to Catania airport when returning home. He was the most helpful and friendly landlord we can imagine. Letojanni was also a nice, small town with friendly people.We want warmly recommend this apartment to anybody visiting Sicily. Lovely, clean and modern apartment in an ideal location in Letojanni. Very close to the beach, restaurants, supermarket and bus stop to get to Taormina (with very reliable bus service). Apartment came fully equipped with more than we were expecting including washing machine, washing tablets, hair dryer, beach towels as well as wash towels, soap and cleaning products, and cooking essentials like olive oil, salt, pepper, balsamic, etc. The owner Salvatore kindly agreed to collect us from Taormina on our arrival and drive us back to the airport in Catania on our return journey. He made contact throughout our stay to ensure all was well and couldn't have provided a better service. Unfortunately, quite a few restaurants and cafes in Letojanni closed for the winter during the week we were there. Therefore, without a car we used the bus service frequently to travel to Taormina and beyond. On account of this we probably didn't fully appreciate the apartment location. In the height of summer I can imagine this apartment being fantastically located for ease of access to the beach and restaurants. Apartment was spotless on arrival. Despite the poor weather we experienced, great holiday and I would happily recommend this apartment to anybody. I do think however that in winter (when Letojanni is very empty and quiet) the apartment would suit those with a car more than those relying on public transport. Thank you again Salvatore.

Our first time in Sicily and by far the best apartment we stayed in during our travels on the island. It is located in a quiet residential area just a few minutes walk from the town centre. Although a secure garage is available, there is also plenty of parking just outside. The apartment is a delight - spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated, well equipped and a lovely restful place to come back to. The terrace was a bonus for an al fresco breakfast or the perfect spot to relax with a glass of wine. Salvatore is a pleasure to deal with - always prompt to answer emails or texts and very caring; it really does matter to him that you enjoy your stay in his property. Letojanni itself makes a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of the major tourist towns. It has a village feel and everyone is very friendly. There are many restaurants to choose from both overlooking the sea and in the town itself - we ate at a number and were never disappointed. Also, although we had a car, Taormina was easy to reach by local bus - which is cheap and runs to the timetable - and much less hassle than driving ourselves. This apartment in Letojanni is an ideal base for both a seaside holiday and for exploring Taormina and surrounding areas. Salvatore is a kind and attentive owner and arranged to collect us from Taormina train station upon our arrival. The apartment is spacious, impeccably clean and well equipped for a self-contained stay. It is close (a few minutes walk) to numerous shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants, and also to the regular shuttle bus to Taormina. It is also close to Letojanni train station. The large terrace is a great asset with morning sun, and protection from afternoon sun and wind. Overall, I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment for either a short or longer-term stay.

This was our first time in Letojanni and have no hesitation in returning to this area and this apartment. Salvatore is so helpful and nothing is too much trouble for him. The apartment is very modern and tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed and sofabed. It was impeccably clean along with the bedding and towels which too were lovely, clean and fresh. The apartment was spacious enough for 3 people and everything was in excellent working order. Fast wifi, satellite tv which has lots of channels. There is lots of storage and the apartment feels very safe and secure. The apartment has a large terrace and although there is a motorway nearby, it really doesn't create any noise problems. The flat is in a residential block and found the locals very friendly. A beautiful quiet location with just a 3 minute walk into the town where you will find restaurants, supermarkets, shops and cafe bars.

Spacious, well equipped, stylish, and well maintained. Letojanni is a charming seaside town close to Taormina. Visiting from Nashville Tennessee, we spent an enjoyable week here. Fast Wi-fi, parking garage, plenty of good restaurants, markets, and a great bread bakery within a short walk. Convenient inexpensive bus service to Taormina to avoid expensive parking and steep long walks to town. Highly recommended. Salvatore was very kind and helpful. You'll love it!

The location was very quiet in a residential area with a short walk to the town where everything was reachable by foot, supermarket, cafes, beach, restaurants and bus stop. The owner Salvatore, was also very attentive ensuring our stay in his apartment was enjoyable. There was nothing we would have changed with our stay in Sicily and have already been recommending this lovely apartment with a very attentive owner to all our friends and family. The apartment is well located and fully equipped as well as very well decorated; everything is presented spotless to visitors, with new furniture and new appliances. A private enclosed garage is also available to visitors.The description on the listing is complete and accurate. The owner went out of his way to make us feel comfortable; we received a very friendly welcome by the owner and his wife despite our very late at night arrival. The beach is nearby and good restaurants, ice cream parlors, bars, etc.. are at walking distance. We would highly recommend this place for the facilities, the proximity to many activities and the friendliness of the owners.

We enjoyed a 10 day stay in this new flat in Siciliy. This was our first time in Sicily and we stayed in a total of 4 places around the island during our visit and this was definitely the best all round accommodation. The flat very modern and tastefully decorated. The main room is a large lounge/kitchen/diner with a sofabed. The sofa was very comfortable - unlike many self-catering apartments - as was the large bed and the bedding, towels etc are all of a high standard. The flat was spacious for us as a couple and as everything was brand new it all worked perfectly. There is a fast wifi, and the satellite tv has BBC world, CNN etc. There is lots of storage and the flat feels very secure. The flat has a huge terrace and has a pleasant outlook over a quiet road. Like everywhere on that part of the coast, the motorway is nearby, making access easy, but it doesn't create a noise nuisance. The flat is in a residential block and would not be suitable for anyone who wanted the freedom to make some late night noise, but for us who wanted a quiet location it was perfect. There is also the rare luxury of a large underground garage. It is a short, slightly downhill walk to Letojanni itself, about 3 minutes, and Letojanni was a very pleasant coastal resort with a lovely long beach with a pleasant promenade that (in winter) had at least 5 bars, as many restaurants and an ice-cream shop open. We really enjoyed the generous plates of peanuts, crisps and savouries that are given when you order a drink in a bar and the two restaurants we visited in Letojanni were good. Letojanni also has a bank, post office and train station. It had 2 butchers as well as a couple of grocery shops and we found local people very helpful. We ventured into the non-tourist bars and received a very hospitable welcome although we spoke no Italian and felt a bit self-conscious initially as the other customers clearly all know each other. Salvatore the owner of the flat, was very helpful and keen to make a success of this apartment and sorted out the one small problem we had with the washing machine very quickly. We would certainly recommend this as a place to stay and would stay again if/when we return to Sicily.
