Beautiful location. Peaceful and quiet. Lovely welcoming and warm family hosts. Very good freshly prepared evening meal ( a choice of 4 or 5 starters , about 5 pastas and 5 meat dishes, and sometimes a "dish of the day") with very reasonable prices and excellent cheap homemade wine. Lovely pool area. Stunning views of the segesta temple on the driveway up. Gorgeous hiking location. Great for a visit to the nearby segesta temple and amphitheatre. Breakfast was ok. There are 3 very well behaved dogs always around in the restaurant area. It was no problem but might be for anyone not keen on dogs. It is about an hour drive from Palermo airport.About half an hour drive from some coastal holiday areas like castellamare del Golfo. Bedrooms rustic and quite basic, but fine. Pillows a bit uncomfortable but we find that's the case in most places we've been in Sicily!

This place is VERY isolated. The nearest village or town if you wish to eat elsewhere in the evening is a good 20/25 minutes drive partly down the very difficult long driveway leading to the property. Nowhere to sit outside the room. A little table and chairs would be welcome. The TV is often played VERY loudly , as well as commercial radio stations playing while guests are eating their evening meal which destroys the feeling of calm and quiet in the evening! Some gentle ambient music played would suit so much better. The pool was extremely cold!

Great 2 night stay...quiet, peaceful, good food and very friendly service. Nice room...very clean. Bathroom a wee bit small but okay for short stay. good AC and wifi worked well in the room. Miriam was a real treat..friendly, helpful, very accomodating. Her mom was the same. Good food with nice vina de casa.

Nothing. Road in was rough but take it slow and easy and all will be okay. If I was staying for weeks I would like a bigger bathroom and it would be nice if wifi worked around the pool....all nit picking as the place is great as is

Wow - what a lovely place to stay - so beautiful and peaceful right in the heart of Sicilian countryside. Room very clean with everything you could want. The place is a working farm making wine (which is lovely!) and olive oil. Miriam and crew are very friendly and attentive to help make your stay special. The food we had was excellent - fresh local produce beautifully prepared. So glad we stayed here. Would be tricky to find but Miriam sent us a video which made it easy - be warned the track to the house is 3Km long!!

Fabulous - a very special experience. - lovely staff/hosting family - location (near Segesta) - outdoor pool - lovely food - breakfast and dinner. Best eggs ever! Family also produce own wine. - family friendly (ground floor room with double doorway which our double buggy fitted through - everything accessible on ground floor).
