We had such a great stay in Jessica and Raff's house. The location is perfect with a view of the ocean. We just saw a whale spout from the deck! The beds and linens are very comfortable, always a big plus for me. The kitchen is well equipped. When we had an issue, the owners were very quick to respond and resolve. I highly recommend this house.

What a beautiful place to stay! Amazing views and all the amenities you could hope for. Our family had a wonderful time in Kauai and our stay was perfect. Could not ask for a better place!!!

This property was so amazing on so many levels. My family’s personal fav was the gorgeous view of the ocean (especially with the perfect upstairs Lanai to see it). Another amazing aspect was how centrally located the house is. You are walking distance to food places, the grand hyatt, beaches, tennis courts, and not to mention, the house had rackets and beach supplies (chairs, umbrellas, bags, and even games)!! 10/10 recommend and already want to come back here :)

Pros:
Home is as advertised. Close to the ocean with nice view off of second floor deck. Closest beaches are rocky, sandy beach is a little farther away but still easily walkable. Hyatt resort next door is handy for quick dining and is very nice. They have a wonderful pool area but want to much for use. Full laundry provided with needed supplies. Easy off street parking. Resort pool is available but is a ways away and isn't anything special. Lots of beach stuff available, chairs, umbrellas, toys, towels etc. Seems to be a quiet area even with the resort walkways being close by.
Cons:
Main level and master bedroom is on second floor so any grocery items and luggage you bring will need to be carried upstairs. The A/C is via mini splits, the one in the main area upstairs struggles a bit, the bathrooms don't have any so they may get a little stuffy (provided fans helped). There's some minor maintenance items needing attention such as cabinet doors with very loose hinges and the downstairs bathroom sink faucet spout that isn't attached to sink but just flopping loose (not expected in a rental with this cost) but these were really minor things.
Overall a five star rating. One other thing to note is that you can't be afraid of small reptiles here, we chased several little Geckos out. They seemed to coming in the louver windows since they don't close that well and the screens fit so so. It didn't bother us (our 5 year old grand daughter thought they were great) but just a heads up.

We were visiting for the marathon/half marathon and the location was perfect. Beautiful views, very comfortable, and easy to get everywhere. Will stay here again.

This house had plenty of room for 5 friends to enjoy time together. It was a great location for heading out on daily adventures as well as to just hang out together. It was nice to be able to walk to places from the house and enjoy the ocean views from the upper Lanai.

We spent 10 days here and it was very nice. Everything was clean and well stocked. Communication with the owners was very informative and helpful. The view of the ocean from the balcony was very soothing. Lots of wild birds keeping us company while we enjoyed morning coffee or afternoon cocktail. If we go back, this will be our first choice of locations. Very near local groceries, restaurants & food trucks. Thanks again.

House was as described, beautiful morning view of the ocean. I have stayed in Poipu several times and although this location is a little farther out, was still convenient when driving to island locations. Home was furnished as described, great upper deck to plan day with morning coffee! Beautiful!

This house and setting was absolutely perfect for us! We (the grandparents) slept upstairs and our son and his family (incl. our 6-year old granddaughter) had the bottom floor to themselves. With the bottom deck they could spread themselves out. Both floors have awesome views!
Quick walk to Shipwrech Beach to play in the sand and tide pools. Not far at all to Poipu Beach which has something for everyone (swimming, snorkeling, baby beach, sand play, turtles and monk seals sleeping on shore).
We had one super rainy day and so really appreciated all the games (great assortment!) and books, and the light, open setting of the house.
Beds were comfortable. The kitchen is very well supplied and pleasant to work in. The owners were super responsive and helpful! Lots of good beach toys, chairs, umbrellas and snorkeling equipment too.
Wish we could have stayed longer!!

This house was a great place for our family to come back to after each adventure. Great layout for us and teens. Loved the location with walking paths right by us and beautiful view. All needed beach amenities were included also. Would choose again in a heartbeat.

As advertised. Pretty view of ocean with a short walk in the morning to see the sunrise. Short distance to many south shore sights, beaches and restaurants. Clean. Well equipped, supplying any kitchen utensil , beach chairs, umbrellas, tennis racquets, boogie boards, towels that you may need. It is refreshing to rent a house that gives you enough supplies (to,paper towel,laundry soap) to make it thru the week. There is a walk to a beautiful pool..fortunately if your not ready for the trek there is a conveniently located parking lot near it.
Great communication with the owners. They really want to ensure that your stay in their home is the best possible experience.

We had a wonderful vacation on Kauai, staying at Hale Kika. The house was very spacious, with lots of room for our family of six. We really enjoyed eating out on the deck, from which we could see the ocean. There were plenty of beach chairs and toys to make trips to the beach comfortable and fun. The location cannot be beat. The green belt path is literally out your back yard. It's an easy walk to Shipwreck Beach or Poipu Beach. This was our first time coming at Christmas, and it was amazing. Fun to see the turtles rest on Poipu Beach late each day and amazing star gazing each night just down the path from the house. Would love to return someday.

We had such an enjoyable time staying at the house. The location is amazing and a short walk to the beach or pools. The house was in excellent shape and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils needed to prepare family meals. The lanai was well used by our family to enjoy the view and breeze. Communication with the owners was professional, quick, and easy. They went above and beyond to ship a medication bag back to the mainland that we mistakenly left in the bathroom at departure.
Also, the house has all you need for beach equipment and fun in the sun. When we return to Hawaii, we will definitely be inquiring about the availability of this house again. Thanks so much for the wonderful home to enjoy our family vacation!

Our one week stay at the Shipwrecks Poipu Beach house was a wonderful experience for our 6 family members. The house fit our needs perfectly—lovely view, great lanai for eating and relaxing, short walk to beautiful (but crowded) beaches. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook for a crowd.
Our host Raff was very accommodating. He replied very quickly to any questions and requests.

My family of four plus my wife's parents stayed at the Shipwrecks Poipu Beach house for seven nights in early August. The house had everything we needed and then some. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will look to go back soon. The pictures of the Lanai don't do it justice. The view with the huge grass area, palm trees, and ocean is spectacular. The owners were great as well. Mahalo nui loa

This home was great for our family! Felt just like home, the hosts were great, the views and nearby beaches were wonderful, and the location couldn’t be beat! Kitchen was well stocked, and they had great beach gear we could borrow. We wish our stay was longer, and will definitely try to stay here again the next time we are in Kauai.

We planned a family vacation to Kauai nearly a year ago. The first all family vacation in waaaaay too long. We chose this house for my wife and I, our son amd a buddy and my parents. It was perfect. The location to the beach and shops couldn't be better, but also somewhat secluded in a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of beds for our sleeping arrangements and the back deck and BBQ were perfect for a full family gathering watching the waves crash.

Our stay in Poipu
This property is exactly as listed. It is clean, open, and airy. The location is just perfect. A nice walk to three different beaches. The shipwreck beach in front is absolutely gorgeous. The walk to the pool and other beaches is beautiful. The house comes with everything you could possibly need and the owner was very helpful and easy to get in contact with. It was so hard to leave this paradise!!

Big house, great location
We had a wonderful time at the house—the kitchen was well stocked for all our meals. We would have eaten more in the lanai if it wasn’t so windy but it was still a great place to see the beautiful view. The lower two bedrooms are small but the upstairs bedroom is very spacious. The best part was the location. We took nightly walks to the ocean and through Grand Hyatt. We just wished we could stay longer!
